this place was a perfect mix up from our previous stays! Resting in a room unlike the usual hotels was refreshing. The room was clean and organized, there were a few minor blemishes and check in process wasn't perfect (once we emailed them, we came to a quick solution) but it all worked out. Overall, I would definitely recommend someone stay in a room like this because it's an experience.

The location is great, about a five-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station. The rooms are small, and the interior is old, and the TV is super old-fashioned. The cleanliness is so-so, but it's very cheap, so it's acceptable.

Room is a standard Tokyo room size but the addition of the washer dryer combo and microwave is a god send! I also appreciated how the floor is not carpeted; only downside is the shower room is not ventilated so it was very warm when I stayed (summer conditions 35-38 degrees). speaking of shower, try the ReFa toiletries and showerhead! Amenities are free to take at lobby, likewise free coffee service from morning till 11pm. After check out, luggage can be left at the hotel until collection at a later time or book an airporter service at least one day before to send to the next destination. I was lazy and sent the non wheeled luggage via airports and lugged my wheeled luggage out heh. Access wise, do take note that there are a lot of male hosts along the road to the hotel at night. If it is late, will be advisable to exit from C1 instead of C6 to avoid them. C1 has a lift, so no worries about having to climb the stairs. This definitely worked for a solo female traveler like me :)

The hotel rooms are clean. The characteristic of Tokyu Hotel is that each room has a new washing machine, so you don't have to go out to wash clothes, which is very convenient. The hotel is close to the subway station and is convenient for travel
