Mutianyu Great Wall tours

The tour guide was very enthusiastic, sharing knowledge about the Great Wall with us on the bus, encouraging our participation, giving us many useful suggestions, and clearly explaining the itinerary and many details. Everything was meticulously arranged. This trip was very smooth and rewarding. Highly recommended!

The Great Wall is amazing. We enjoyed our time traversing the various towers of the Mutianyu Great Wall. We booked our trip with Klook, and our tour guide Michael made the experience easy for us. I highly recommend this activity if the Great Wall is part of your itinerary.

This Klook tour of the Great Wall and Summer Palace was an excellent experience overall! The itinerary was well-planned, and transportation was convenient, saving a lot of time by not having to plan our own routes. Our guide, Jessie (Guide Yang), was professional and enthusiastic, providing detailed historical backgrounds of the Great Wall and Summer Palace along the way, which made the visit much more insightful. The scenery at the Great Wall was truly magnificent, even more breathtaking in person than in photos. The Summer Palace, with its classical garden beauty, offered a relaxing escape with its picturesque lakes and mountains. The tour's timing was perfectly managed, never feeling rushed, and allowing ample time for photos and independent exploration. I highly recommend this tour for first-time visitors to Beijing; it offers great value and definitely deserves a five-star rating!

We absolutely loved our Great Wall and Summer Palace and Great Wall tour organized by BUSTA and Yoyo. The experience was seamless, and Yoyo’s explanations of the history made everything come alive. Her knowledge and friendliness added so much to the day. A perfect 10/10 from us — highly recommended!

A flight schedule change left me with only one day to do a guided tour, but wanting to see the Forbidden City and Great Wall made me feel as if I had to choose one or the other...and then I found this tour. I was blown away by how well run the tour was, not feeling rushed at all to see everything. Sure there was less time in each place to read every single placard, hear every single story and hike to every watchtower, but I enjoy a nice overview and this tour hit the basics out of the ballpark. Ana, our guide, was super nice and caring, making sure everyone was accounted for, had all the great wall options they wanted, explained everything logistically in great detail, and told great historical stories of what we were seeing in the Forbidden City. If you only have one day in Beijing, this is the tour to book. Don't settle for one or the other, do both.

The trip was a great value for the money! The food was amazing, the buffet had a wide variety of options. Unfortunately, we missed the first part of the journey because we booked the night before and weren’t able to coordinate the pick-up due to the short notice. However, our guide was the best and helped us figure out how to join the group at the Forbidden City. She even offered to cover the transportation we used to get there, which was incredibly kind! We joined the tour successfully from that point on. Afterwards, we headed to the Great Wall, with our guide sharing interesting explanations along the way, making the journey both educational and enjoyable. They also offered us water at every stop, which was so appreciated since we visited during summer. To close the day, we enjoyed a wonderful tea ceremony, which was a lovely and relaxing way to wrap up the experience. To top it off, they dropped us off right at our hotel! All in all, we had a truly wonderful experience.

Our tour guide for this Beijing trip, Guide Xie, was truly sincere, helpful, and provided detailed explanations. He spoke eloquently about historical allusions, worked diligently, and offered excellent service. I'm grateful to have met such a wonderful person on this trip, which left me with a beautiful impression of Beijing.

I had Yang as a tour guide who was great. Although the pick up from hotel was a little chaotic as the driver and I couldn’t understand each other and I wasn’t sure if this was definitely the right pick-up, when I met Yang at the coach pick-up place, her English was clear and helpful. I had a lot of questions about lunch in the itinerary and whether the cable car is necessary etc which she was able to answer. I am a fast walker but Yang explained that the cable car still is required given the time limit - it was a hot day so very appreciated. My advice to anybody visiting who enjoys hiking and is speedy, it might be possible to walk up if you skip the lunch and are relatively fit. I sweat a lot but could’ve done it if I also hadn’t booked lunch. However I found Yang very responsive and fluent in English to every question I had and for the average person I definitely recommend taking the cable car. We have not yet been to the Bird’s Nest. Thank you.
