Takayama

e-ticket was good. no need to queue to buy bus tickets. the open air museum is beautiful. as it was raining the whole day when we visited, there was no snow at all: if not, it will look magical. the museum package by Nohi Bus came with ¥100 discount for ice cream and red bean soup. having hot red bean soup inside the hut is a good experience and warm us up. there are free green tea and water offered in the hut too.

Great 2 day pass for going to Shin Hotaka from Takayama which includes ropeway return and bus return tickets and we also used it the next day for our bus to Hirayu Onsen. Easy to use and cheaper than buying the pass at Nohi bus center. Highly recommended!!!

The exchange order was delivered on time within 4 days to me. Delivery from Taiwan to Malaysia by DHL. Such a fast service. I used the exchange order to exchange for the ticket at JR office at Kansai Airport. Very convenient and super worth it as it helped me to save.

Huji was punctual and most helpful in suggesting interesting sights , Reserve restaurant . He was in constant coordination so we knew where he parked and the like. operator advised US of changes in driver and van the day before. all these resulted in a stress Free Daytrip

Great views of the mountains. The majority had snow at the peaks and thatl was deligthful. Good structure with toilets, souvenir shops and a café.

The company's service is excellent. They reply to inquiries quickly and provide detailed explanations. The Mandarin-speaking driver was very professional and considerate. Before the trip, he explained the route, time, and precautions. During the trip, he provided guided tours and explanations along the way, helping to resolve many questions about subsequent itinerary planning. He suggested time allocation and dining options. It was a very pleasant travel experience. I will book again next time.

Finding the bus station was very easy, even though I was traveling with three family members and carrying three large suitcases. The bus driver was very friendly and helpful. The journey took around 7 hours, with stops at rest areas every 2 hours. The rest areas had beautiful scenery, which made the trip very enjoyable. We also stopped in Kanazawa and Shirakawago, allowing us to enjoy amazing views along the way. After arriving in Takayama, the driver kindly helped me with directions for returning to Osaka. He explained clearly that we could go back either by bus or by JR Line. Overall, it was a truly great experience and I really enjoyed every moment of the journey. This was an unforgettable tour to Shirakawa Go. The tour guide changed the itinerary to visit Shirakawa Go first then went to Hida Takayama; which worked better because Shirakawa Go was so beautiful in the morning when the sun was out. This tour was on late December and the snow just started to build up, but melted eventually as it was not cold enough. Beware! Lots of black ice, wear non slippery base shoes. The tour guide added extra hours to Shirakawa Go which was great that we had time to enjoy some local snacks while in the area. Visit to Hida Takayama was in late afternoon, lots of restaurants have closed by 2:30 pm so we could only have light lunches like hida beef sushi and yakitori. But the town itself is so beautiful. We enjoy the atmosphere. The tour guide was so lovely, she was knowledgable and made lots of suggestions of what places to visit and to eat in. She also walks with us to make sure we can get in and out the places correctly. We highly recommend this tour. The timing is correct, not too rush. Thank you to both the tour leader and the driver! You did a great job!
