Things to do in Ratchaburi Province

Our tour guides, Bamboo and Aim, were very friendly and provided useful travel information for Wuchiu, such as the 1155 tourist dispute hotline, which has tourism police who speak both Chinese and English and are available 24/7 to handle disputes and assist with reporting incidents. The journey was quite smooth, so motion sickness was unlikely. There were also charging ports on the tour bus (though I'm not sure if every bus has them). Our 9:30 AM tour returned to the meeting point around 5:00 PM, and luckily, we didn't encounter any traffic. We arrived at the Maeklong Railway Market around 10:50 AM in late August, just in time to see the train arrive at 11:10 AM and depart at 11:30 AM. Items sold on both sides of the tracks were a bit pricey; you can find cheaper vendors if you walk towards the main road. At the Floating Market, we were assigned to a boat with six people. The boat constantly stopped at stalls where vendors tried to sell us things, but the prices were high. Unless you specifically want the experience, I don't recommend buying anything. Our guide thoughtfully warned us about this before we even got off the bus and also shared reasonable bargaining ranges for different areas. After disembarking at the Floating Market, there was time for lunch. The last stop, the Buffalo Restaurant, only offered coffee, desserts, and ice cream, not full meals. We spent about an hour at each of the two main locations and half an hour at the Buffalo Restaurant. Overall, I felt it was a very worthwhile trip and highly recommend it.

This was a very special trip. The tour guide provided explanations in both Chinese and English and was very dedicated. Because the new highway was open, we arrived at Maeklong Railway Market 30 minutes early. If we had arrived early, we should have had more time for a meal, so we didn't have extra time to eat. We saw the train at 11:00 AM and had to board at 11:20 AM. We arrived at the floating market around noon. The original plan was to leave at 3:00 PM, but the guide said we had to leave at 2:00 PM so everyone could use the restroom. We returned to the starting point around 4:00 PM, an hour earlier than expected. We could only wander around the area. As soon as we got on the bus, the guide informed us that tips were not included, so it was up to us whether to tip or not 😂😂😂. This tour was very unique, and it would have been more interesting with a bit more time to explore, but it felt like the guide was very rushed.

We booked our Damnoen Saduak and Maeklong Railway trip through Klook as we wanted to make our Thailand trip a memorable one. We had a great day, and the tour operator (TTD Global) was fantastic. The bus was very comfortable, and our tour guide for the day was well-organized, friendly, and great fun. Our guide, P’ Nok, was also very informative and helpful along the way. She made sure we all knew where to meet and at what time. It all went like clockwork. The tour was at a great pace, and there was no rushing. She is an excellent guide! I also love the fact that she’s able to speak Mandarin/Chinese fluently. We enjoyed the day immensely. It was better than my expectations. The train and boat rides were highlights, especially at Damnoen Saduak, where we had a beautiful view of the river channels and could enjoy an amazing coconut ice cream that is free! The experience was really worthy—just do it! You will love it! The driver did a great job too. I would highly recommend!

We had a great time and so much fun with Mr Coconut! it was a half day tour and he explained everything and took so many photos of us. Definitely recommended. he’s a good tour guide ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I participated with my child on a Sunday in early August. The meeting point was easy to find, right near Siam Station. A Panda Tour representative in an orange shirt confirmed my name and gave me a paper with the car's license plate number. We walked a short distance to the car. The air conditioning in the car was just right, and we arrived in about an hour with safe driving. Although there were many people around Ganesha, there was no line for the mouse statues. It was quite hot, so an hour-long stay was just right. Ice cream, drinks, and food were sold everywhere, and the children had a lot of fun feeding the carp and cows for 20 baht.

I was pair up with the guide Champ and he was attentive, patience, helpful and funny. made the tour quite a lovely experience. I left my phone at one of the cafes and he had a Grab drop it off at my hotel. helped with taking pictures and shared some of the history of Thailand - the floating Market and the cafes. offered helpful suggestions of how to bargain with the locals in the Market. the only thing that could've improved was the weather... I was literally soaked in sweat by the time we finished, you will definitely need a fan on the go, don't chance a heat stroke trying to look cool 🙃 Met a lovely couple from Australia who made the experience a touch better, overall don't hesitate to book even as a solo traveler! just bring enought cash, water and a fan... there are no ATMs near the locations we went. used most of my cash in the first two markets like a dummy 😂

I booked this tour twice. First in 2023 with my husband, then in Aug 2026 with my mom. And like the first time, everything was well organized, and we had a great experience. Our driver and tour guide, Warin, was wonderful throughout the entire trip. He was very kind and informative. He shared interesting information about the places we visited and took very good care of us from start to finish. We appreciated his thoughtful touches, like providing free ice-cold water and lending us a hand fan because of the heat. Warin is also a great photographer! He took so many nice photos of us. Driver, tour guide, and photographer all in one! The itinerary was packed, but everything went smoothly. It was a great experience exploring attractions outside Bangkok. Special thanks to Warin for taking good care of us.

We had a wonderful day! It started with breakfast after the transfer, consisting of toast and fried dough, jam, peanut butter, as well as Nescafé, water, and juice. There's medication available for seasickness. Afterward, we took a speedboat for about an hour to go snorkeling. Unfortunately, the corals are damaged due to tourism. However, you can still see some fish. We then continued to the main island. Here, you could hike to the viewpoint and go kayaking. Kayaking is unguided, and for the hike, you shouldn't expect an easy path. According to the guide, the ascent and descent take 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your fitness level. I personally only went to the first of five viewpoints; even the viewpoint to Emerald Lake is not an easy walk. It involves more ladders than stairs. We were lucky with our guide, Maÿya; she kept everyone in good spirits all day and kept an eye on everyone. Thank you!

we really had fun in this travel. although the places to visit are too far from each point but the Elephant Park was the most amazing and chill activity here. Thanks for our tour guide and all the team who helped us.
