The best time to visit Singhanakhon is from December to March, when Songkhla has warmer, drier weather and calmer conditions for beaches, ferry rides, and old-town sightseeing. October and November can bring heavier monsoon rain, so plan flexible outdoor time during those months.

Most travelers arrive via Hat Yai International Airport or Hat Yai Railway Station, then take a taxi, private transfer, or local bus toward Songkhla and Singhanakhon. From Songkhla town, the Songkhla Lake car ferry is a scenic and practical shortcut to the Singhanakhon side.

Local taxis, private drivers, rental cars, and motorbikes are the easiest options because attractions are spread between beaches, ferry piers, bridge viewpoints, and nearby Songkhla town. The ferry is useful for crossing the lake quickly, while a private car is best for combining Singhanakhon, Ko Yo, and Songkhla Old Town in one day.

Stay near Haad Kaew Beach or the Singhanakhon waterfront for quiet sea views and a local pace. For more restaurants, cafes, museums, and evening walks, many travelers stay in Songkhla Old Town or near Samila Beach and visit Singhanakhon by ferry or car. Hat Yai is better for flight connections, malls, and nightlife, but it is less atmospheric for a Songkhla Lake-focused trip.
