Hue Day trips

Simon was our guide - clear and interesting explanation! to note that the drive to Hue is ~2 hours away with one rest stop. Attractions visited was ample to learn more about the historical importance of hue. The provided lunch was also very filling.

The ride on the historic train was a unique experience, and the day trip was completely worth it, especially thanks to our local guide, HUDA. He guided us expertly and entertained us engagingly in very good English. He covered Vietnamese culture, religious customs and traditions, as well as current projects concerning the Imperial City of Hue. Had an amazing day tour to Hue exploring Vietnam's historical heritage! This was by far the best handled guided tour I've taken. Our guide, Tâm, messaged the pickup time in advance and met me right at the hotel entrance. We took the tunnel instead of the Hai Van Pass, but Tâm gave us a great history overview along the way, including a nice coffee break at a lagoon. The Highlights: Khai Dinh Tomb: Incredibly beautiful and unique architecture. Lunch: A wonderful group meal at a lovely hotel. Tâm perfectly handled my dietary restrictions. Thien Mu Pagoda: Stunning views and even better architecture. The Imperial Citadel: Amazing!! I’ve never seen such a beautifully restored palace. It was worth every bit of the heat. Quick Tip: The 2.5-hour drive is very comfortable and great for a nap. Definitely bring a hat and stay hydrated, as walking around the sites gets really hot. Overall, an incredible experience!

We had a great time with our Hue Imperial Discovery tour with our tour guide Kevin. Kevin, was very knowledgeable about Vietnam's history and he is also funny so the we never got bored during our whole trip. We also enjoyed our lunch and we love the authentic vietnamese foods. Kevin made sure that all our needs were catered well. It was a funtastic experience.

A superb exploration of the DMZ and other Vietnam War sites with our guide Fyn, who was very knowledgeable about the history and brought the visited sites to life.

The tour was great! I love teaching my child history through real-life experiences, so this tour was incredibly meaningful. The guide was very gentle and sweet, just like Hue itself, haha.

I had a wonderful experience with our tour guide Mr Long! Our ride was smooth and driver was very accommodating. Mr Long was very informative, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire tour. The weather was quite rainy, but he still made sure we were comfortable and helped us navigate around safely. He was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. This was a fantastic experience. The hotel pickup for the outbound journey and drop-off near the hotel for the return (not far at all) was very thoughtful. They even provided a baguette for lunch to tide us over. It was excellent. I will definitely book this again next time I'm here.

We had originally booked a Chinese small-group day tour, and luckily, it ended up being just us, which made the timing much more flexible. Our guide diligently explained many details about the emperors of Hue. It was very sunny and involved a lot of walking, so remember to use sun protection and stay hydrated.
