Transport in Seoul

I used AREX to and from Incheon Airport and Seoul Station, and it was super convenient. The train arrived and left on time. A huge plus is that you can check in your bags at Seoul Station if you're flying with participating airlines like Jeju Air, Korean Air, Air Busan, and others (check first if your airline is included!). The AREX line was short, and because I had already checked in at Seoul Station, I didn't have to line up at the airport check-in counters anymore. I went straight to immigration and security. Definitely a time-saver!

Cheapest and convenient to use. However, it may not be the fastest mode going to the city center because nowadays the traffic is jammed in some parts going to Seoul. Still recommend.🙂

Claiming our T-Money card was an incredibly quick and easy process. The pickup instructions were clear, and the counter staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the whole experience completely stress-free.

Always my safe and reliable ride to Everland. Complete instructions for the pickup points in Myeongdong to and from the park. Be sure to ride during your appointed time as the driver already jotted down in his tablet the names of his passengers. No chance passengers.👌

At the airport counter, the staff member was very attentive when exchanging for the physical ticket. They first confirmed the destination, verified the bus number, printed the ticket, and pointed out the boarding location. The bus driver was friendly, asking for destinations before boarding and proactively helping with luggage. The bus announced station names, and if a passenger was getting off at a particular stop, the driver would provide an additional notification. The bus seats were spacious and comfortable, and it passed by many hotels, which was very convenient. Return timetables were posted at the city bus stops, making it easy for passengers to arrive early. Taking the airport bus is an excellent choice.

The fastest and most convenient way to travel from Busan to Seoul is by train. There’s no strict ticket checking when boarding, but it’s best to keep your ticket ready in case of random inspections. The journey takes around 2.5 hours, making it smooth and relaxing—I was even able to sleep through most of it. Just make sure to be at the boarding area early. The platform is usually announced about 15 minutes before departure, so stay alert. Trains depart exactly on time, so don’t be late!

Good experience riding the KTX train to Busan. Booked earlier for seat reservation. No need for physical ticket exchange - all via online using their Korail App.

Meetup location was easy to find. Operator contacted via WhatsApp a day before to confirm on the details. Bus ride was comfortable. Seamless experience. The only thing was that the traffic from Yeoju back to Seoul was heavy and the ride back took nearly 2 hours. The bus left the outlets at about 5pm but we only reached our destination at 7:10pm. So for anyone who plans to go, just make sure to plan anything else after that from 8pm onwards. Anyway, a pretty good experience and reasonable price. Will use this again in future.
