A mushroom museum in Wu Feng District, a bit away from Tai Chung City, but not hard to get here by bus. Chinese guide in regular time for 4 section. Displaying the development of mushroom industry.
The tour guide was very funny and the tour was excellent. I learned about many poisonous mushrooms, strangely shaped mushrooms, glowing mushrooms, Ganoderma lucidum, Antrodia cinnamomea... The park isn't big, but it's great to take a guided tour and explore!
Nice place to explore indoors if weather is too hot or raining. An educational session to understand the history ie how it’s produced, the various species and the poisonous ones. Good for kids to learn.
A place dedicated to displaying and educating knowledge about mushrooms (such as mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, etc.). These pavilions typically showcase the diversity of mushrooms, their role in ecosystems, cultivation techniques, nutritional value, and their use in culture and history.
On the 6th floor of the Wufeng Farmers Association, the tour guide was very attentive and the models of the exhibition hall were also very exquisite. The entire tour ended in about an hour and the explanation was easy to understand. There is a $30 discount coupon that can be used to redeem designated products or drinks at the agricultural product sales counter on the 4th floor. There is an exclusive parking lot behind the farmers' association (not a parking lot), which is very convenient. Just ask the counter to get tokens when you leave.
The venue is quite spacious, with a lot of mushroom knowledge and large mushroom displays. It's perfect for taking photos and offers an excellent blend of education and entertainment. A great place!
Interesting musuem but very small. May not be worth the time to travel all the way down. The free guided tour is fantastic though.
You need to get the parking token from the lady on the 4th floor so that you can drive out. Then you can visit the agricultural products on the 4th floor. The mushroom explanation lady is very professional and interesting. She also explains in detail the evolution process of poisonous mushrooms, medicinal mushrooms, etc. I didn't expect the world of mushrooms to be so vast. It's so strange!
