Tokyo Kimono and Yukata Rental Experience (Tokyo Liliya Kimono Asakusa Store)

Liliya Kimono is amazing! The kimono package includes a free hairstyle, and the hair accessories are free to choose from. The staff is very attentive in helping with the updo and even gives suggestions on whether to leave some hair down in the front to look better. The store is about a 3-5 minute walk from the subway station, and the side entrance of Senso-ji Temple is just a minute away after exiting the store. I went to many places, and walking in the shoes wasn't particularly tiring. They're not the kind of wooden clogs you'd imagine; the soles are soft, which was much better than expected. I'll definitely come to this store again if I have the chance.

It's truly beautiful. The staff member who helped me coordinate my outfit had a gentle Taiwanese accent. When the obi (belt) I initially chose was too similar in color to the kimono, they kindly swapped it for another. I appreciated the service from the three kimono experts on site, who were all gentle and professional. The hairstylist created a particularly intricate hairstyle. Before I left, the English-speaking translator carefully made some final adjustments. I'm really very satisfied.

I saw a Furisode kimono in the store and decided to take a chance with the weather to wear it. I must say, it looked amazing! The store has a catalog of hairstyles to choose from. The hairstylist suggested a few, and after I picked one, she even helped me improve it by adding two small curls in the front. The photographer was very professional, and I was very satisfied with the photos. I highly recommend booking a photographer; it's great value and much better than having a friend take pictures. That's about it.

There are Chinese-speaking staff in the store, and they are all very friendly. You can leave your bags and shoes, but I still recommend bringing sneakers with you, as wearing zori (sandals) for a long time can hurt your feet. We chose the basic hairstyle option, and we thought it looked pretty good.

The prices are very reasonable, the clothes are quite new, and the styles are also very attractive. The ladies in the store have a great service attitude. If you don't know how to match outfits, you can also ask them for advice. We booked the Asakusa store. We arrived at 9 am and there weren't many people. There were many clothing options. The photographer contacted us in advance. The entire changing process took about 1 hour. We met the photographer directly after coming out, a perfect transition. The photographer worked very hard and the photos were very professional. Photo shoots of this level on Little Red Book (Xiaohongshu) cost around 1000 RMB per hour, but here it only costs a few hundred RMB, very satisfied.

This kimono experience was great! I chose to rent a kimono at Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo. I actually have a trip planned to Kyoto as well, but I specifically arranged to wear a kimono in Asakusa. The store has staff who speak Chinese and English, so you don't have to worry about language barriers. The kimono styles are also very beautiful. The rental shop is right next to Senso-ji Temple, which is a great place to take photos, and the kimono styles are very gorgeous. The staff are all very considerate. I recommend this place!

After arriving in Tokyo, I booked a kimono experience. I glanced at Klook and chose Liliya Kimono. I was able to go the next morning. The store is located on the side of the road near Senso-ji Temple. We arrived around 9 am and were the first customers. Then we went inside and started choosing kimonos. They had many styles, but I recommend choosing brighter colors! Although they might be very vibrant, the photo results are excellent! I couldn't resist taking pictures. The shop owner was super nice! Oil-paper umbrellas are available for free! They're great props for taking pictures! Highly recommended! Strongly recommended!!

Overall, I'm very satisfied. The store has Chinese service, and there's a super pretty Japanese staff member who helped me choose clothes back and forth, with a smile throughout the entire process. The service was excellent. The store is located near Senso-ji Temple, about a 2-minute walk to the side gate of Senso-ji. Returning the clothes is also very convenient; you can return them here until 6 PM. Choosing a yukata is more suitable for the summer, as it won't be too hot.

I saw this shop on Xiaohongshu, and I didn't expect Klook to be selling their services too. I booked it without hesitation, and it was definitely worth it. The whole kimono rental and styling package was less than 5000 yen. Booking here saved a lot of money. The kimonos were very beautiful, and the shop is located right by the side entrance of Senso-ji Temple, so we found it quickly. The shop's interior is upscale, and this price is very cheap compared to other places in Tokyo.

The outfits are beautiful, clean, and there's a wide variety to choose from. Most importantly, the staff is very kind. In our case, we made a last-minute booking the night before we needed the outfits, and in our haste, we made a mistake by booking for too many people. We weren't able to get a refund from Klook as usual (because their refund policy requires requests to be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled time). We chatted with Klook's customer service, and they confirmed that we couldn't get a refund. We were very stressed about it all night because the overpayment was quite significant. The next day, we went to the shop at our scheduled time, hoping the shop could help us somehow. We told the staff we had made a booking error. The staff was very nice and tried to communicate with us using a translation app, telling us to make a new booking for the correct number of people. They said the shop would cancel the incorrect booking, and we could request a refund from Klook the following day. It didn't end there. After that day, the shop continued to contact and advise us via WhatsApp chat, staying in touch until we received a full refund. We went from being worried about whether we would get a refund to having a great experience thanks to the shop. We were very impressed with this shop because they really didn't have to help us, but we received excellent assistance. ❤️
