The sashimi selection is limited, basically including salmon, tuna, octopus, and sweet shrimp. The salmon tastes good, but the octopus is a bit tough. The king crab is incredibly fresh and very popular. The chilled shrimp is fresh and crisp, while the lobster claws are just okay. The coconut chicken soup is delicious, with a rich coconut flavor. The grilled pork ribs are rather ordinary. The Thai-style fried calamari rings and shrimp have a fresh and rich flavor. The steamed scallops are sweet and fresh, and both the grilled beef and lamb saddle are tender with a rich meaty taste. As a side note, for a friend's birthday, the hotel thoughtfully arranged a birthday cake plate with a birthday message and a small cake, which was very considerate.
Their buffet was really excellent! The signature Long leg crabs were fresh and provided continuously. Both durian mash and dessert were lovely. In addition, they provided 70% Belgium chocolate Godiva ice-cream. It was incredible. My dummy was too small to accommodate so much tasty food.
As always, the buffet dinner at Hotel ICON The Market was delicious, the food was fresh, and the desserts were excellent! The only drawback is that there aren't many food choices, but perhaps it's a case of quality over quantity!
I purchased the brunch buffet deal through Klook to celebrate my husband's birthday. A few days prior, I contacted Klook customer service to request a small cake with a birthday message. The representative mentioned they had noted the request but it would depend on the restaurant's arrangements. Sure enough, it arrived around 1:30 PM, which was a pleasant surprise for my husband. Thank you, Klook, and the restaurant for the assistance! Overall, it was a great experience. The ambiance was elegant, bright, and clean. The food was fresh and replenished regularly, and there was complimentary sparkling wine. The desserts were also delicious, and after 2 PM, they even served fresh durian Portuguese egg tarts which were very tasty. We were extremely satisfied and left with full stomachs! 😆 The service was excellent, and I would recommend it to friends.
Last time I had lunch, and this time I tried the dinner buffet, which was excellent. The sashimi included whole scallops, which were amazing. The sushi was beautifully made and delicious. The shrimp in the cold seafood selection were very crisp, and the king crab was incredibly fresh and sweet, not too salty. There was a wide variety of desserts, so even if you don't eat durian, there were plenty of options, including Godiva soft-serve ice cream. Overall, it was great.
As the most expensive buffet dinner in Hong Kong and Kowloon, the food quality is absolutely beyond doubt. The seafood, lobster, crab legs, and Japanese sashimi are all fresh. This season features geoduck, available stir-fried or in soup, both fresh and delicious. Plus, there's freshly stir-fried lobster, grilled crab legs, and incredibly delicious desserts. It's so good it's crazy! You get what you pay for, so if you're going to eat, eat the best and treat yourself well.
Thank you to the staff for arranging a comfortable, private seating area for us, which allowed us to enjoy our meal in comfort and peace of mind. The hotel's seating arrangement is too cramped, and the aisles are too narrow, making it inconvenient to move around. Durian is the hotel's most distinctive food item; I really enjoyed the durian ice cream and sauce, they were delicious! The salad was also good. There weren't many drink options, and no sodas or tea bags. The stewed soup was delicious, and the watermelon was great!
The place isn't huge, but there are enough food options. The king crab claws, mussels, shrimp, etc. are of good quality. The roast beef sushi is excellent, and the fish maw egg tarts are very popular. The staff is very attentive, reminding guests when they are fresh out of the oven. The durian desserts are the most outstanding. The food is also replenished quickly, and I was very satisfied with the meal.
The Wagyu Sukiyaki set includes sashimi as a starter, followed by the sukiyaki pot. The presentation is exquisite, and if you want to take photos, you can request a window seat. The Wagyu beef is very fatty, melts in your mouth, and the desserts are also very delicate! My friends and I had a very enjoyable meal.
Celebrating my daughter's birthday at Hotel Icon for the second year in a row. The dazzling and delicious food and seafood are a pleasant surprise, including stewed soup, exquisite desserts, durian tart, fish maw tart, and my favorite Godiva chocolate soft serve. The staff is also very attentive. Because it was my daughter's birthday, the staff proactively came forward to take photos for us. Overall, we were very satisfied with the lunch buffet.
