Today I went to have a lunch buffet with my family. There was still a New Year's atmosphere. Cafe Kool is creating a festive atmosphere this time with Autumn Ode, and every table will give away Chef Yin’s golden crab claw soup. It has always featured Hong Kong-style Yung Kee siu-mei and herbal tea, which are delicious and make everyone feel friendly. The best quality is the stew. But the only drawback is that there used to be stewed rock sugar, snow pear and apple dessert during the day, but now there is no such thing. In terms of dishes, we need to add more. The current dishes are not enough, so there are relatively few choices. Indian food needs to be improved. For example, the meat is too shredded and dry, the pizza is too dry and too thin... There are not many choices of fried food, so the space in the restaurant from cooking noodles to Indian food to fried food is wasted. It would be more attractive if there were ready-to-grill seafood. It would be better if the Western restaurant had baked scallops tonight. In addition to the stew tonight, which deserves praise, the sushi, sashimi and frozen seafood departments are relatively well done. Desserts were also praised tonight, such as the ready-to-cook taiyaki, delicious cakes... I enjoyed the buffet so much in May that I came back with friends in June. I really love the nostalgic decor here; it has a natural and comfortable feel. The hotel's dessert selection is varied and delicious, and they even have durian ice cream, which I adore! The conch stew was a pleasant surprise—it was hot and incredibly sweet. Each person also received a prawn, which made it well worth the price. The staff were attentive and welcoming. Very satisfied!

Their grilled abalone was delicious, but the supply was limited, and it took a long time for everyone to try one.

Wanted to have a buffet during Christmas, so I came to KLOOK to see which hotels were available. Saw that the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel was reasonably priced, so I booked the buffet dinner for December 27th. The food was quite surprising, just the lobster alone had baked herb mushrooms and baked garlic vermicelli. All the food was refilled very quickly, and the most special thing was that there was a section for halal food. The hotel staff were also very friendly.

Because I didn't call them a day in advance to tell them that there was a cake for my daughter's birthday🍰, I wanted to just have candles, but later they sent a small cake to our surprise. The service is truly worthy for 5-star hotel. High varieties of cold dishes. A bit disappointed with the Siu Mei. No more Yung Kee Peking duck this time. The sticky rice was replaced by the CNY cuisine, like dried oster & black moss and braised pig trotter. The stew soup, dessert, souffle pancake and kobe beef sushi were yum.
