Crikey! it was absolutely awesome! The best zoo we have ever visited, no exceptions. To put that into perspective we have been to a lot of zoo’s including San Diego. The crocuseum was exceptional. Overall the one thing that struck us was the cleanliness and space. The enclosures were excellent and all the staff were so friendly and happy. This was personally one of the most enjoyable days out ever!
I had an absolutely amazing time at Australia Zoo! The entire experience was both fun and unforgettable. One of the highlights of the day was unexpectedly seeing Robert Irwin perform live at the Crocoseum! His energy and passion for wildlife were so contagious. We also had a lovely up-close encounter with the kangaroos, who were so calm and friendly. But what really stole my heart were the koalas, they are just the cutest! I seriously can’t stop gushing about them. The zoo is beautifully maintained, the staff were super friendly, and you can really feel the love and care they have for the animals. Highly recommend a visit if you're anywhere near the Sunshine Coast. It's such a special place!
This is such an incredible zoo. The whole place was so clean, the animals look healthy and happy. They have a splash pad and bouncing area for the kids which was a welcome break. Tennis shoes are a must it's a lot of walking but they did have a shuttle running that took us back to admissions.
Australia Zoo is a living legacy of Steve Irwin. I brought my family to visit the zoo so they could understand the work he and his family have put into animals conservation. I'm very glad I did and the visit was a special and enlightening one
my friend and i really enjoyed ourselves, all the animals seem so well taken care of and had a big space to roam around. sadly did not manage to see steve irwin’s son but was lucky enough to see his wife instead. had a great time there, crocodile show was a highlight, thank you australia zoo!!
chance to see animals not only from Australia but different parts of the world. some animals you would only want to see behind a glass and some in person
we really enjoyed our visit to Australia Zoo. it’s so big and so many things to see. the Crocodile Show was the highlight of our visit. we even get to feed the Kangaroos and pet a koala.
