Review for: Fukuoka Mount Aso & Kumamoto Castle Full-Day Experience with Aso Boy Train

Kyushu's stunning train, the Aso Boy 🚞, offers window views like a comic book. I was charmed even before boarding! The black and white color scheme, plus the illustrations of little black dogs throughout the carriages, made me squeal with delight. The mascot is a black puppy named "Kuro." There are 101 different poses of Kuro throughout the train, so cute it's almost unfair. Our guide, Mr. Wang, was attentive and thoughtful, providing excellent service throughout the trip. His explanations helped me fully understand the destinations. The entire journey was joyful and pleasant.

Review for: Fukuoka Mount Aso & Kumamoto Castle Full-Day Experience with Aso Boy Train

Finally got to experience the Aso Boy! sightseeing train I've been dreaming of! The adorable Kuro (black dog) themed carriages create a wonderful atmosphere, and the pastoral scenery along the way is incredibly soothing. The vast Kusasenri prairie stretches endlessly, with cows and horses grazing peacefully, and Mount Aso visible in the distance. The pace of the trip was perfectly relaxed, never feeling rushed. Highly recommend it!

Review for: Fukuoka Mount Aso & Kumamoto Castle Full-Day Experience with Aso Boy Train

Traveling independently makes it difficult to connect with the Aso Boy train, so joining a tour group saves a lot of hassle! The itinerary is well-planned, and you don't have to worry about changing transportation yourself. The scenery at Kusasenri is vast and ethereal; feeling the gentle plateau breeze and immersing yourself in the Aso volcanic landscape makes the trip truly worthwhile.
