Xiaoliuqiu Ferry Schedule Special Instructions
- It is recommended to match the boat schedule according to the reserved HSR train number.
- Outbound trip: Donggang to Xiaoliuqiu, reference ferry times: 10:30 / 10:45 / 11:45 / 12:00
- Return trip - Xiaoliuqiu to Donggang, reference ferry schedule - 13:00 / 14:00 / 14:30 / 15:00
- It is recommended to take a private ferry for the boat trip. The port of call in Liuqiu is Baishawei Port, and the round trip requires ferries of the same type.
- On the day of your visit, please go to the B&B counter at the ticket office to collect your ferry tickets with your identification. Please be sure to bring your identification on the day.
- If there are any changes to the above voyages, or for information on extra flights on the day, please refer to the official website Xiaoliuqiu Information Network.
Shuttle Bus Special Instructions
- After arriving at HSR Zuoying Station, please go to Exit 5 and take the escalator to the fourth floor to gather for the shuttle bus.
- The shuttle bus has fixed times: departure at 09:30; return at 16:30.
- The round trip shuttle service between HSR Zuoying Station and Donggang Pier is a shared ride, and the shuttle time cannot be changed. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- The shuttle is not a private charter; please proceed to board at the designated time.
- Drivers are on a rotating schedule; if the vehicle number changes on the day, it will be based on the operator's contact.
Canoe Activity Description
- Canoes are for two people per boat (if an odd number of people participate, they will share a boat with a coach or another group).
- If the activity day encounters heavy rain, strong winds making it impossible to go out to sea, or other weather-related factors, occupants can receive a refund of NT$400 per person.
- When participating in water activities, please remember to wear a life jacket and do not remove your life-saving equipment. Follow the coach's instructions and adhere to the visitor guidelines, activity regulations, and relevant safety operating procedures.
- Sunsets are natural scenery and depend on weather conditions. We apologize if you are unable to view it as scheduled.
- Please bring your own change of clothes, towels, and slippers.
- If you have experience with seasickness, please be sure to bring your own seasickness medication.
- For outdoor water sports, be sure to pay attention to sun protection; you can wear long sleeves, long pants, and a sun hat for physical sun protection; to protect the ocean, it is recommended to use ocean-friendly sunscreen.
- Sunset canoe activity. Sunset times vary. The reference departure times for 2026 are as follows (estimated gathering around 15:00 for changing clothes; please arrive at Xiaoliuqiu by boat early to avoid missing the activity):

High-Speed Rail Ticket Special Instructions
- High-speed rail tickets for the outbound / return journey must be from the same departure location.
- Outbound trip: Taipei to Zuoying (High-speed rail services arriving in Zuoying between 07:00 and 09:00 will be prioritized for planning)
- Return trip - Zuoying to Taipei (High-speed rail services departing from Zuoying between 18:00 and 22:00 will be prioritized for planning)
- High-speed rail tickets for this itinerary are available for booking 28 days before departure. Availability depends on ticket conditions during the booking period. If high-speed rail tickets are fully booked, our staff will communicate the following options with you:
Option 1: If the order is placed and confirmed after high-speed rail tickets are available, but the reservation is unsuccessful, a full refund will be issued, and the order will be canceled.
Option 2: If the order is placed and confirmed before high-speed rail tickets are available, we will only be able to confirm the high-speed rail booking status after tickets are released. If no high-speed rail tickets are successfully booked at that time, you will be asked to queue on-site on the day of travel to purchase non-reserved seats. The cost of the high-speed rail ticket included in the itinerary will be refunded to you. If you take a non-reserved seat, please proceed to the meeting point at the designated time of the itinerary. If the itinerary is canceled due to an unsuccessful high-speed rail ticket reservation, the cancellation fee will be handled according to the standardized contract. We apologize for any inconvenience. - For train and High-Speed Rail tickets, foreign travelers are only eligible for adult/child ticket types, with no senior/concession tickets available.
Special Itinerary Reminder
- A minimum of 2 people per car is required for the trip to proceed. (Customer service will confirm whether the group is formed at the latest four days before the departure date.)
- If you confirm your registration for this tour, you must first pay a reservation deposit of NT$3000 per person before the supplier can accept hotel bookings and group reservations.
- The shuttle bus operates on a shared group and shared vehicle system with local travel agencies, and may share a ride with other passengers.
- This itinerary is a semi-self-guided tour package, without a tour leader or guide accompanying the entire trip.
- The Maritime and Port Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications stipulates: Effective immediately, individuals without identification documents are not permitted to board ships. When boarding, please cooperate by providing information such as your name, ID number, contact phone number, and other necessary details, and please also comply with the shipping company's relevant control measures.
- For the supplier: Within the Lion Travel system order, all contact information entered, such as name, date of birth, ID number, landline/mobile phone/E-MAIL, etc., is correct and accurate.
- The itinerary includes a motorcycle. According to Article 88 of the "Road Traffic Safety Regulations": [Heavy and ordinary light motorcycles with a fixed seat behind the driver may carry one passenger]. If a motorcycle is rented and operated in violation of the above regulations, any accidents or traffic fines that occur on site, and all resulting damages and expenses, shall be borne by the individual.
- Relevant precautions will be notified by fax or phone two days before the trip departure.
- The vehicle is an enclosed space. Please do not bring pets or dangerous items on board to avoid affecting the safety of other passengers. Thank you for your cooperation.
- Please gather on time within the specified period. Please keep the mobile phone registered during enrollment turned on, to avoid being unable to contact guests and unable to board the vehicle.
- If a traveler leaves the group privately due to personal reasons during the itinerary and fails to meet up, the supplier will not issue a refund.
- The driving times stated in this itinerary are for reference only. Due to road conditions or a large number of tourists on holidays, the order of the itinerary may be adjusted.
- Please bring your own cold weather clothing and rain gear, and personal medications such as motion sickness pills, cold medicine, and insect repellent.
- Since the vehicle is an enclosed space, for your health and the health of other passengers, if you have symptoms such as a cold or cough, please remember to wear a mask.
- The registration order will only become effective after confirmation and reply from customer service personnel, and will be deemed as both parties agreeing to sign the standardized contract for domestic travel. Please read the content of the contract carefully.
- Online reservations do not guarantee a successful booking; confirmation from customer service personnel is still required.
- The passenger agrees that after this product is ordered and paid for, any costs incurred from cancellation or postponement will be their own responsibility.
- In the event of irresistible natural factors such as typhoons, earthquakes, or heavy rain, the supplier reserves the right to postpone departure or issue a full refund.
- Registered travelers under the legal age of 18 must obtain a consent form personally signed by their legal guardian before they can join the tour.
- Persons with disabilities (please be sure to bring your disability handbook)

We regret that requests cannot be accommodated on the day of departure. - If the passenger order has been completed and there are new passengers who need to ride in the same vehicle, please contact the original order's sales representative. We regret that we cannot accept requests to ride in the same vehicle made after the fact. We appreciate your understanding.
- Cancellation Policy: All supplier operations comply with relevant regulations of the Tourism Bureau, and a travel contract is signed with the traveler. For detailed cancellation policies, please refer to the domestic travel standardized contract. The above notification date must be based on the normal working hours announced by the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration; if the time is exceeded, it will be calculated on the next working day. We appreciate your understanding.
This itinerary is for a special HSR discounted ticket. Please note the following usage instructions:
- For discounted HSR series itineraries, please complete your booking and payment at least 3 days before departure (excluding check-in date, Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays). For orders departing within 3 days, the response will be based on the actual operational status of customer service.
- For counties and cities other than Taipei as the departure point, an additional working day or more is required due to the logistics time needed for physical high-speed rail tickets. Please take note.
- When ordering, please provide complete information for all travelers (name, ID number, date of birth) to facilitate hotel and ticket arrangements.
- Transportation between local attractions on this itinerary is a fixed-point shared ride and by reservation. Please arrive punctually at the designated location and time for boarding.
- The boarding time for the high-speed rail tickets for this itinerary will be adjusted according to the local meeting time. The actual train schedule booked will be subject to the notification from customer service after the order payment is completed.
- Special package for high-speed rail series itineraries: "Departure date is check-in date, return date is check-out date"
- High-speed rail tickets and pre-departure information will be provided as soon as possible after high-speed rail tickets become available for booking (28 days before the travel date), in the order of booking (no later than 3 days before the departure date). On the day of departure, please bring your high-speed rail tickets and pre-departure information for check-in or for high-speed rail ticket verification.
- To protect the rights of passengers, please arrive at the High-Speed Rail station platform ten minutes before the train’s departure. If you are unable to board on the day of travel, you may inform the High-Speed Rail gate staff and present your ticket. After the staff manually confirms that the ticket has not been used for boarding, they will arrange for you to enter and exit through a manual gate and are limited to taking a non-reserved seat on the same day as the ticket (no refunds). Please note that you must also exit through a manual confirmation process upon reaching your destination. Thank you.
- High-speed rail ticket seats are assigned by the high-speed rail system, so it is not possible to specify seats, the same carriage, or consecutive seats.
- The HSR ticket for this project is a discounted fare, limited to use on the specified date and train.
- Please keep your High-Speed Rail ticket safe. No reissuance will be provided if lost. Tickets that are altered, defaced to the point of being unidentifiable, or photocopied are invalid.
- If prices are adjusted, the new prices announced on the Lion Travel website shall prevail without further notice.
- Unless otherwise specified in these precautions, all other matters shall be handled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Passenger Transportation Implementation Guidelines" of Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation.
High-Speed Rail Special Ticket Refund/Exchange Policy
- For this itinerary's special offer tickets, a handling fee of NT$20 per ticket will be charged for one change or refund. Please apply at Lion Travel Neihu Headquarters during business hours (package ticket changes cannot be processed for a single leg; if the outbound ticket has been used, the return ticket cannot be changed for a single leg).
- Passengers applying for ticket changes should notify customer service personnel in advance and return the original ticket to the company seven days before the departure date to process the ticket exchange; those applying for refunds must return the original ticket to the supplier before a refund can be processed.
- If a re-ticketing is required during the journey, the re-ticketing fare will be calculated at the full fare; however, the re-ticketing fare for concessionary tickets will still be calculated at half of the full fare.
- In the event of train delays or service interruptions, passengers who meet the refund conditions of Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation should contact the ticket windows at any HSR station. Taiwan High Speed Rail will process refunds with ride vouchers.
- When a high-speed rail ticket itinerary is canceled due to a statutory disaster, in addition to the aforementioned contractual agreement, special notes on cancellation fees are as follows: when a land typhoon warning is issued for the travel origin or destination, and local governments announce a suspension of work and classes;
1. If the train has been announced to be suspended, and the passenger is notified to cancel or postpone, no additional fees will be charged, except for expenses already incurred and non-transferable.
2. If the train continues to operate, passengers may decide whether to proceed with the itinerary. However, those who cancel or do not show up will be charged 20% of the travel fee.
Safety Rules
For your safety during this trip, we specifically ask you to observe the following matters. This is our responsibility to inform you and also to protect your rights.
- The tour leader will meet the group members at the group assembly counter to handle seat assignments and explain related matters. (For Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu outlying islands, as no tour leader will accompany the group, relevant participation instructions will be provided by the local guide upon arrival at the destination.)
- The correct itinerary, hotel, train (plane) schedules are subject to the customer service representative's reply. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- The itinerary cost does not include the tour leader and driver fees.
- During peak season, transportation resources (flights, tour buses, boat fares) are limited. To ensure the smooth progress of the day's itinerary, adjustments may be made to the schedule. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. (However, all itinerary content will be completed)
- For group activities, please be sure to gather on time. Late arrival or no-show on the day will be considered a forfeiture, and no refunds will be issued.
- Your safety is of utmost importance, please always be mindful of your personal safety. If you feel unwell or experience other symptoms, please notify the service staff immediately.
- Please do not bring pets to maintain public health and prevent the spread of infectious diseases. (Vehicles, hotels, and restaurants will refuse entry to pets, with the exception of guide dogs)
- Please bring: a change of clothes, sun umbrella/hat, warm jacket (to prevent getting cold from the air conditioning in the car or due to lower mountain temperatures), camera, batteries, charger, personal medication (motion sickness pills, cold medicine), etc. It is also recommended to wear light clothing and comfortable shoes for ease of travel activities.
- When traveling, please stay hydrated at all times.
- During long holidays, there are many travelers, and it's inevitable that there will be some service shortcomings during the trip. For example, the speed of refilling dishes during meals will definitely not keep up with the speed of picking them up. If the hotel serves food too slowly, you can directly report it to your tour leader (guide). Please do not get angry and spoil your travel mood. Other situations, such as waiting times when the hotel distributes keys, purchases tickets for admission, or transfers to other modes of transportation, are also common, so please understand this in advance!
- Travel agency staff and tour leaders (guides) cannot provide oral medication to travelers. Please prepare sufficient motion sickness medication and personal medicines.
- If tickets are distributed, please check each type of ticket (e.g., train tickets, admission tickets) to ensure they are all present. If any are missing, please notify the team leader.
- During nighttime or free time, if you need to engage in independent activities, please inform the team leader (tour guide) and your fellow travelers, and pay special attention to safety.
- Please be careful when walking on snowy and steep roads.
- Remember not to flaunt your wealth in public, and do not take out a stack of banknotes in front of others when shopping.
- Please observe the precautions announced by the tour leader (guide) for various places such as scenic spots, restaurants, hotels, and amusement facilities.
- Groups must participate in activities together. If anyone wishes to leave the group midway, they must obtain the consent of the group leader (tour guide) to prevent accidents.
- For your health and the health of other passengers, as the tour bus is an enclosed space, passengers are required to wear masks in accordance with regulations from the CDC and the Ministry of Transportation and Communications. If a passenger fails to comply after being advised, the supplier will refuse to allow the passenger to continue riding the tour bus and will legally terminate the travel contract with the passenger.
- For a safer and more comfortable journey, please remember to fasten your seatbelt before each tour bus departure. If you need any assistance, please inform the service staff on board.
Safe Travel Abroad for Epidemic Prevention
- Before going abroad, visit the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control website to check international epidemic information and prevention recommendations, or go to a "travel medicine clinic" 4 to 6 weeks before departure for an assessment.
- If you have symptoms suspected of infectious diseases such as fever, diarrhea, rash, or respiratory discomfort during your trip or upon returning to your country, please proactively inform airport quarantine personnel upon entry; if you feel unwell within 21 days after returning to your country, please seek medical attention as soon as possible and inform the doctor of your travel history and contact history.
