Since you are in Sydney, you simply must see a musical at the Sydney Opera House. Although buying tickets on Klook doesn't allow you to choose your specific seats like the official website does, it saves you from booking fees and international credit card transaction fees. "My Fair Lady" is a famous film, and even if you haven't seen it, a quick look at the plot online beforehand will help you follow along much easier. Originally, I just wanted to experience what it's like to see a musical at the Sydney Opera House and planned to buy the cheapest tickets available. However, because I booked just the day before, only expensive seat options were left, so I ended up buying Reserve C orchestra seats. It turned out to be an obstructed-view seat on the side of the mid-to-front section. Yet, the seat right next to me was priced as Reserve B, and I figured since it was just one seat over, it shouldn't be too bad. As it turned out, about eight seats next to me were completely empty, so I later moved over to one of those vacant spots. The difference was palpable—sitting in the center is definitely the best choice. The stage mechanisms throughout the show were incredible, and you could even catch a glimpse of the live orchestra playing beneath the stage. I truly have no regrets about coming to see it.
I originally wanted to book on the official website, but when I went to do so, the price tier I wanted was sold out. Later, I found tickets available on Klook and bought them instead, though the drawback was that seat selection wasn't available. You can enter on the day by showing the QR code; it is recommended to display the screen with English text so it's easier for the staff to check. My seat that day was X 39, with a slight obstruction overhead, but it didn't affect the viewing experience. Since there were no English subtitles, it was a bit hard to follow. During the intermission, the restrooms get very crowded, but there are many stalls so the wait wasn't long. If you bring a large bag into the venue, you need to check it in at the designated baggage storage area, which is located right opposite the ticket inspection point; picking up the bag after the show takes some time. It is recommended to arrive about 30 minutes early, which is plenty of time, so there's no need to show up too early. There is free drinking water available inside the venue.
The whole day was amazing, the rapid scene changes were incredible, and the live singing, music, and actor costumes were all flawless. Watching it at the Sydney Opera House was an unforgettable experience.
Instead of just admiring a famous landmark, you can step inside a world-renowned performance venue, sit back, and enjoy a full musical, experiencing live singing, orchestral accompaniment, stage design, and the actors' performances firsthand.
I saw My Fair Lady. Perhaps my eyesight isn't great so I couldn't see very clearly, but the theater and costume design were fantastic!
love the musical show - great casts, songs and set ups. Seats are really comfortable and i got a centre seat, so the view is great for a C cricle.
All the other guests were smiling and seemed to be having a good time. It was difficult for me since I don't understand English, but it was a great experience.
Very convenient. When picking up the tickets, we were assigned seats right near the front, at a much better rate than standard pricing. It was an incredible value for the money. I feel so lucky and grateful.
very nice show
