We had a lovely 4.5 hours with Quin. She was waiting for us outside White Rose restaurant at 3pm, and successfully navigated us to 5 or 6 eateries, some were small restaurants, some were little street side places. She also introduced the food we had, answered our many questions, and shared lots of information about Vietnamese food culture. We ended back in Hoi An old town at a tea and coffee shop around 19:30 having eaten many nice dishes.
This was our highlight in Hoi An. Our local guide was really nice and she showed us local food that we would have never tried by our own. The combination of biking and eating was just perfect, as it was the visit of the gardens to see how local people collect their vegetables and herbs. This tour is really worthy the money. I highly recommend you to do it with empty stomach!
Our guide, Kim, was so amazing! She told us so much history about Hoi An and the food and she was just great energy to be around. We loved her! The tour itself is paced so well. You really can try so many different foods and enjoy the city. Highly rec this tour!
couldn’t be more happy with our guide KIM. I had to leave early during the trip as my bf and I felt not well physically, and Kim was so caring and patient with my parents who doesn’t speak a lot English. She took a lot photos for them and kindly explained the food culture and local history to them. my parents were very happy with the tour! Don’t hesitate to book the tour and it will be so lucky if you are traveling with Kim!
This is definitely the highlight of our trip in Hoi An. Our guide, Jackie, is super friendly and engaging, providing insights to Hoi An and the where to have good foods in the city. Being a local herself, we trusted her recommendations. The foods we had in this tour are out of this world. We would cycle and make pit stops for the food. Jackie even got us raincoats when it started to drizzle a bit during the tour. Simply amazing. Would definitely go for it again the next time.
I'm very satisfied! It was really good to go to local restaurants, not just local restaurants, but mainly steamed restaurants used by locals.. In particular, the guide, Jackie Jackie, was very kind and explained in detail, so I was able to learn a lot about Hoi An! The traffic in Hoi An was a little scary because I had to go inside the road and ride my bike, but it was fun.
We had Quin as our tour guide and she was fabulous. She made sure that we were safe while following her. I personally was not confident with my biking skills especially in the city intersections so she suggested that we walk our bikes instead while crossing these roads. Quin was also knowledgeable with the food that was served to us, explaining its history, the ingredients used/cooking process making us appreciate more what we were eating. Thanks again Quin!!
Jackie was a fabulous tour guide- informative, fun and took us to lots of tasty food places. You get to try lots of different types of local food, definitely go with an empty stomach! The bikes were a good way to get around and meant that we good go to the nearby vegetable farm as well.
This is a great way to explore local food. Our guide Emma was fantastic. There’s a lot of food to sample, so make sure you come hungry!
Kim was an excellent host - regardless of the weather, she ensured a wonderful experience for us. with insightful anecdotes and quaint places, it was truly a memorable and delicious experience. Thank you Kim!
