What a delightful tour with an equally delightful guide … Ace was fantastic and so accommodating of our special requests.
Ko was our guide and Sun was our driver. overall good trip
The experience was very good. The tour guide Xiao Hu and the driver Xiao Sun provided very good service. Five-star praise is recommended
The only consolation was meeting the super thoughtful tour guide. The itinerary itself was fine, but the so-called "hot spring hotel" was a major disappointment. I've been to Japan countless times and have never encountered a hotel this awful. First of all, it seemed like almost all the guests were from mainland China; I didn't see any Japanese or other foreigners. The dinner was worse than what you'd find in Shenzhen, completely catered to Chinese palates. The hygiene standards also seemed to be tailored to Chinese habits – think about that yourself. Don't get your hopes up for breakfast. Secondly, I chose this tour hoping for a room with a view of Mount Fuji, but all I got was a view of Fuji trees. Another letdown. With so many mainland Chinese guests, I heard that it was recently acquired by a Chinese company. I didn't dare try the hot spring. If you're booking this tour specifically for the hot spring hotel, think twice. I was planning on spending a day soaking in hot springs, but… I wish I had just booked a hotel myself knowing it would be this bad. This is my first time taking a 2-day, 1-night tour, and I won't be taking that risk again. It's not about the money, but the experience was so far from my expectations. If you're attracted to this tour because of the Mount Fuji view, please reconsider. Think carefully. The Fuji view in the pictures is only visible if you're sitting in the restaurant, and you have to snag a window seat to even see it. It's not visible from the rooms. Even the worst Japanese hot spring hotels have their limits, but this… this is the worst Japanese hotel I've ever stayed in. Consider it an "experience" of a Chinese-managed hotel. The end.
If Mount Fuji hadn't graced us with its presence this time, I would've been too angry to even give a star. These two stars are for Mount Fuji and the tour guide. I've booked several trips through Klook, but this time, I really stepped on a landmine. The Mount Fuji sights were amazing, but the overnight accommodations, so-called "1-night 2-meal" plan, and the onsen were terrible. The accommodation claimed to have a view of Mount Fuji, but it was only visible from the dining hall. The room's view was just a row of fake bamboo for privacy, so you couldn't see anything. People were smoking and being loud in the hotel lobby. The food in the dining hall clearly wasn't prepared in a Japanese style; it was like a school cafeteria with large pots of food just to get by. The utensils weren't clean; the plates and cups were greasy to the touch, which was very unpleasant. The room's cleanliness was poor, the air conditioning had a moldy smell, and the cleanliness of the bathhouse was off-putting, making me wonder if it was even a real onsen. None of the six people in my group, who didn't know each other, dared to go in. You might say you get what you pay for, and I agree, but for a two-day, one-night trip costing almost NT$9,000 per person, it shouldn't be this awful. I learned a lesson this time, and I want to share it with everyone: don't blindly trust Klook's choices if you just want a mindless trip. You still need to do your own research on hotels and attractions. Thanks again to Mount Fuji and the tour guides for their care. Thank you, Klook, for teaching me a lesson. I definitely don't recommend this accommodation.
