Fantastic

Stayed with kids

This hotel was perfect for us, In good neighborhood with local restaurants, family mart right across the street. The staff at front desk were great. They were very helpful and polite. Property was very clean, efficient. With teenagers the Akhiabara is just one stop in train. They could go hangout themselves and enjoy arcade games. They helped us luggage storage service, they couldn’t hold all our luggage as they don’t have enough space for all. But they did hold 2 suitcases for us and had to pay for the rest while we explored Kyoto. We did booked rooms with them to come back to the same hotel. Kitchen was great use for us make tea in the mornings and quick rice and noodles cooking. Overall we are very happy with the hotel. 10/10.

Fantastic

The family room that I booked was very spacious. It has a functional kitchenette which came with a ref/freezer, cook top stove, microwave, toaster oven and cooking utensils. A grocery store is right across the hotel and several restaurants and izakayas surrounding the neighborhood. Public transportation is easily accessible and I recommend if you’re a family of 3 heading to Tokyo Station it will be wise to take a cab. Fare will be comparable to taking the train with less hassle. Be wary of some of the restaurants in the neighborhood for there’s an additional cover charge per person added to your tab. There is a restaurant called Shokuriku underneath the train track, which serves good food at a very reasonable price with no added charges Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. On a side note, I suggest that the hotel may want to consider having an English instruction on their remotes.

Stayed with partner

Property is located close to local station/s making getting around super convenient. There are plenty of local small places to eat with good quality food and a small grocery store across the road. Room was great for a 7 day stay with plenty of room and the convenience of a washer/dryer and small kitchenette.

Fantastic

Stayed with family

The room was very clean and spacious for our family of 4. The kitchenette was convenient and we liked having the fridge and microwave. The area was pretty quiet at night but there were places to eat nearby plus a Lawson’s right on the corner and a 7-11 nearby that we frequented for snacks, coffee & breakfast. The subway station was close by too.

Good

Stayed with family · For friends and family

The room was small with four separate beds, which worked well for our needs. However, each bed came with only one pillow, and when I requested an extra pillow, I was informed that their policy allows only one pillow per guest unless additional charges are paid. That was disappointing for us. Also, there was no option to request daily room cleaning. During our four-night stay, the room was not cleaned even once. Considering the level of service and amenities provided, I felt the price was somewhat high. MONday is a franchise hotel, and we had much better experiences at other properties during our trip. That said, the location is very convenient. The street is quiet, and there is a large grocery store and a Seven Eleven directly across from the hotel. There were plenty food options, and you will find a number of halal restaurants just by walking 15 min.
