How can I get a refund for my train booking?

Once your booking is confirmed, canceling your booking will occur a fee. The fee depends on when you cancel your booking:

• On the departure date or 1 day before: no refund
• 2-3 days before departure: 50% of the ticket fare
• 4 or more days before departure: NT$20 per ticket

Note:

• You can only cancel your full booking. Partial refunds aren’t available.
• If Taiwan Railway suspends service and cancels your train, including for typhoons or other natural disasters, there’s no cancellation fee.
• If your train is delayed, you can get a refund. You can’t switch to another train on the same route for free. Taiwan Railway confirms the refund amount.
• Only Klook handles cancellations and refunds. Taiwan Railway stations won't process refund requests.
