Things to do in Shizuoka Prefecture

Our Mount Fuji trip was excellent from start to finish. We received the guide’s details and clear instructions about reaching the pickup point the previous day Our tour guide, Asa, was outstanding. She spoke excellent English and explained the heritage, culture and history behind each location. She also gave us useful shopping tips, explaining what each place was famous for and where to find the best souvenirs. The weather was great, giving us wonderful views of Mount Fuji, and the Lawson stop was a great experience too. We covered all the places on the itinerary and had a fantastic day exploring Japan. Asa also helped us find souvenirs and chocolates at better prices, including additional discounts at the lunch stop. She was always willing to help with photographs, which made the trip even more enjoyable.Overall, this was a well-planned, hassle-free tour with an excellent guide. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Mount Fuji and its surrounding attractions!

Aoki is a great guide with proper prepared strucutre. Her communication with every single parcipant is above and beyond, very nice down to earth and amazing person. The tour went smooth and we got introduced to the history of Mount Fuji aswell all the look out points without any problem. I Would definitely recommend this package to anyone visiting Japan for the first time. Thank you Aoki!

Kousei was a great tour guide - friendly, polite, patient and gave us good explanations of the different attractions in both English and Chinese. All attractions were beautiful but I wish we had more time to stop at each place. Lake Ashi cruise was the highlight of the trip. Be aware that the Ropeway tickets are not included and must be paid separately (2,000 yen each) - this wasn't made very clear in the itinerary or inclusions/exclusions.

I had such a wonderful experience on the Mt. Fuji tour (18 Oct)!❤️ Our guide Tim was incredibly kind, informative, and helpful throughout the day. I really appreciated all the local recommendations and useful tips, especially for avoiding tourist traps and discovering more authentic places. What made the experience even more special was that they continued sharing recommendations even after the tour, which was so thoughtful plus gave us a postcard as a souvenir. 💝He also shared some lovely photos and were always quick to respond to any questions. You can really tell he genuinely care about the guests and want them to have the best possible experience, even beyond the tour itself. This Mount Fuji day trip far exceeded expectations and is highly recommended! We were very lucky; it was a cloudless day, and we got a clear view of Mount Fuji with its snow-capped peak. The breathtaking feeling of seeing it in person is something photos simply cannot capture. The itinerary was well-paced, hitting popular spots like Lake Kawaguchiko, Oshino Hakkai, and the viral Lawson convenience store. There was plenty of time for sightseeing and photos at each location, so it didn't feel rushed or like a whistle-stop tour. The tour guide was professional and attentive, with clear explanations in Mandarin. Along the way, they introduced the history of Mount Fuji and local customs, actively recommended great photo spots, and helped everyone take wonderful group photos. The bus was clean and comfortable, the driver was smooth, pickup times were punctual, and there were no unexpected shopping stops throughout the entire trip, making for a pure sightseeing experience. Standing by the lake looking out at Mount Fuji, with the water reflecting the majestic mountain, the scenery looked just like a postcard. The spring water at Oshino Hakkai was crystal clear and the environment was serene. Visiting multiple classic Mount Fuji sights in a single day saves both time and hassle, sparing you the trouble of figuring out transportation and planning an itinerary yourself. If you want to see Mount Fuji from Tokyo, choosing this day trip route offers great value and has become an unforgettable memory of our trip to Japan. Highly recommended to anyone thinking of visiting Mount Fuji!

Mr. Yamada's service was excellent and very professional! He proactively helped us take photos 📷. When a passenger left a bag at the previous stop, Mr. Yamada went back during his free time to help find it! Then, two passengers didn't have umbrellas while shopping at the Outlet, and Mr. Yamada ran back and forth to bring them umbrellas, getting completely soaked himself, but still served us with a smile. After the tour, he even dropped us off at our hotel, saving us the walk back! It was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely want to participate again next time 👍

Very good trip but schedule is a bit tight, smooth ride with very friendly and supportive tour guide. Meeting point location is a bit confusing with all the name of the places mixed up on the brochure. Best to scan the QR code for location and try to get there early.

Had an amazing time especially because the tour group was small. Really appreciated our guide taking the time to explain and get us to Mount Fuji early and take so many photos for me and my wife. The outlets had so many good items and there were so many mesmerizing views.

I was truly satisfied with the breathtaking Mount Fuji tour with Guide Kim Myung-chul! 🙇‍♀️👍 My boyfriend and I took it as a day trip on the last day of our Tokyo trip, and choosing it was honestly the best decision ever!! The weather cleared up so we were lucky enough to see the magnificent scenery of Mount Fuji, and the guide took so many wonderful photos for us, leaving us with amazing memories! 👍👍🍀 During the transit, he entertained us with interesting stories about Japanese history and culture, as well as tips on traveling and shopping in Tokyo! The meals were better than expected, and the overall schedule was comfortable and relaxed, which was great! Especially the hot springs turned out to be unexpectedly amazing, and I want to go again next time!! 😆 I think the biggest advantage of this tour was that we could comfortably visit places that are hard to get to on our own while traveling as a couple! I want to thank Guide Kim Myung-chul for creating such wonderful memories for us 🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️👍🗻
