Izu Mount Omuro Day Trip: Stunning Atami Coastline/Ocean View Train Optional & Mount Omuro Ropeway & Jōgasaki Coast Secret Adventure & Ito Marine Town Stroll

Mila was our guide and she was amazing! She explained everything clearly and went above and beyond for me. It was a long day but the spots were beautiful if you just wanted a quick day trip/break from Tokyo. I am a solo female traveller also and I thoroughly enjoyed it!!

The tour guide and driver for this trip was Andy, and he managed the time very well. While he wasn't the type to enthusiastically introduce history and culture on the bus, his calm demeanor allowed me to quietly enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. As for the Izu sightseeing spots, whether it was the mountains or the coast, most of them were great, beautiful, and dependent on luck (weather). The only thing I wasn't so keen on was the tourist train. Most of the route goes through tunnels, and the time when beautiful sea views are visible from the window is actually quite short, so I personally don't think it's very worthwhile. If there's a next time, I wouldn't choose a tour with a tourist train. Sharing my experience for your reference!

Mount Omuro isn't as beautiful as it is in the spring 🤩, but the ropeway ride is still a lot of fun! The tour guide even took us to an extra spot to see plum blossoms, which was perfect timing for the Atami Plum Garden season ~ it was wonderful! On the way back, we even saw cherry blossoms blooming! A small blessing in 2026 🌸. The itinerary is simple and convenient! Otherwise, driving ourselves would have incurred a lot of expenses! A great option for a day trip!

Booked a day trip bcs we wanted to go to Shizuoka. When booing the trip, I specifically requested for halal/Muslim-friendly food recommendations. Our tour guide, Zhao, was very helpful in ensuring we manage to get Muslim-friendly food. He's also very knowledgeable about the places he brings us to and quite funny 😂. We enjoyed the trip a lot, exploring the beauty of Izu. Thank you, Zhao for all the explanations, guidance and assistance provided. Highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Our guide, Cora, was really professional and made sure to keep the tour group engaged with information of places to visit and well taken care of too. Izu marine town had some pretty good grilled fish dish too located at the corner of second floor Though it was a pity that Mt Omuro ropeway was cancelled due to bad rainy weather common in late June (typhoon alert). Would definitely worth coming back again to visit this itinerary again during good weather conditions with Cora too when the opportunity arises!

Our tour guide was Niklaus who speaks perfect chinese and english. Easy communication and well organized. Lots of driving but each stop was amazing.

Our tour guide, Mila, provided clear explanations for every attraction and snack. The itinerary was packed and enriching, and there was ample time for taking photos. The weather was excellent, making for a truly wonderful day.

Joined last minute and Ko was our guide. I think I was the only one who didn’t speak Chinese or Japanese in the group, but have never felt left out at all. Everyone was on time and Me Ahoshino, the driver was also very efficient. Overall, had a good experience as a solo female traveller.

The timing and itinerary were excellent, and we were fortunate to have clear weather. Coupled with our guide Mr. Hu's skillful explanations of the attractions, we were very satisfied.
