- The journey begins at Hakone Shrine and the Lake Ashi torii gate. Reviews summaryWe spent a beautiful day in Hakone despite Mt. Fuji not being visible. We opted for a small group tour and was able to depart Tokyo early. We arrived at Hakone shrine before many other tour groups arrived and had a few peaceful moments to enjoy. We opted for first class tix on the pirate ship which allows you to skip the line and have a separate area to enjoy the bow of the ship and take some Titanic photos. We were onto the ropeway right after and off to Owakudani. There, we ate the famous black eggs, black ice cream and bought many souvenir items. Bring cash and don’t waste your time lining up for the ATM. Andy guided us through each and every step, and the day went by smoothly. If the possibility of seeing Mt. Fuji is low, Hakone is the better option than Kawaguchiko as there are other fun things to do.
I wish we could have done this tour over and over. Absolutely breathtaking views, our guide Mila was fun and energetic. I do wish we had more time at locations and the choice for restaurant could have been better, but all in all, fantastic experience!

We had a great trip yesterday, and I’d especially like to commend our tour guide, Kousei, for being very pleasant, friendly, and keeping everything well organized throughout the tour. He made the experience smooth and enjoyable for everyone. It was unfortunate that we weren’t able to ride the ship and cable car due to the bad weather, which was a bit disappointing, but we understand that safety always comes first. Overall, we still appreciated the experience and Kousei’s excellent guidance and effort.
Such a wonderful experience. We covered so many spots in one day that would've been impossible by train or car. Mizki-san was the highlight: energetic, incredibly kind, and full of great stories that brought every place to life. She kept the pace perfect and made sure everyone felt included. Highly recommend this tour if you want to see more without the hassle.
the tour guide: kousei was really knowledgeable, competent and the tour was well organized…. Kousei explained to us all the steps so there was no confusion we knew and understood all the information we needed to have a great time and a cultural one as well… I was amazed! Unfortunately we are going back home to New York tomorrow so I will not be able to book another tour but I will advertise this tour to any of my friends traveling to Tokyo. it was great trip i did enjoy everything it was fun and interesting places and Mr.yang was so nice and helpful he make it more fun for us . there’s a lot of places to take pictures and a lot of store to buy gifts & super markets & lunch break they will prepare what you choose in the beginning of the trip i will definitely repeat it with my boyfriend next time
Had such a great experience on the Mt. Fuji & Hakone tour! 🗻✨ Our tour guide, Laila, was incredibly kind, accommodating, and made the whole trip feel smooth and enjoyable. She explained everything clearly and kept the group well-organized while still making it fun. Special shoutout as well to our driver, who went the extra mile (literally!) and extended the drive a bit due to traffic just to make sure we still had a complete and comfortable experience. Overall, everything was well-coordinated and stress-free. Definitely a memorable day and highly recommended if you want to explore Mt. Fuji and Hakone without the hassle! 💯
the tour was awsome i would olny recommend no to rush everything because we had like 20 min in each spot it was really small amount of time but we enjoyed anyway. Wanting was amazing tour guide, she was telling very interesting history and was really helpful the entire tour so i really recommend.
This was a fully packed day trip where we saw some incredible views of Mount Fuji from different angles. We traveled with two adults over 75 and one five-year-old. Our tour guide, Andrew, was energetic and engaging. He made us even more excited about what we were going to see and was very welcoming. Our bus driver was very skilled and the ride was smooth. This was very easy to book, and I would highly recommend it if you are short on time and want to take a day trip out of Tokyo.
