Hotels near Gangnan Coastal Scenic Area

The entire Lichi Hotel consists of double rooms. You need to use your key card to access the elevators to go upstairs, but not to go down. The breakfast is excellent, but on weekends, you should go early (90-minute limit) or you'll have to take a number and wait to be called. The advantage of going later is there's no time limit, but food service ends at 10:30 AM.

The front desk staff were very friendly and provided detailed explanations. The room was spacious and very clean, and free parking was included, which is a great benefit for those traveling by car.

We stayed in a quad room. The soundproofing wasn't great, but since we have kids ourselves, it was acceptable. The drinks in the fridge were complimentary and restocked daily, which was a nice touch! There aren't many dining options nearby, so many guests order delivery. We ordered delivery for two meals and ate at a local stir-fry restaurant one day. The playroom on B1 was fantastic; the kids absolutely loved it. However, one of the rooms is restricted to children under 3, which is a bit of a shame, as older kids can only watch from outside. This could be problematic if you have children with a significant age gap.

The Lakeshore Hotel Hsinchu is the perfect family-friendly hotel! Its huge indoor playground, "Kids' City," features a ball pit and a race track, ensuring kids have a blast and burn off all their energy. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offers a wide and delicious selection. With excellent facilities, you can easily spend the whole day at the hotel. It's an ideal choice for a family staycation and definitely worth a return visit!

The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a delicious and diverse selection of cold dishes, hot foods, and desserts. The front desk lady was beautiful and very kind. When I mentioned some issues with parking, she patiently and empathetically helped understand the situation. I'd also like to thank Ms. Lin for her help in resolving everything perfectly. I'd give it a full six stars!
