This trip was originally a solo trip to Sapporo that I had planned to celebrate the end of the school semester. However, a week before departure, I mentioned it to my mom, and she said she really wanted to go then too and asked if we could go together. So, I quickly booked an extra spot for the bus tour, hastily prepared, and off we went. I've been on a few bus tours before, and honestly, I've always just used guided tours as a means of transportation to suburban destinations I wanted to visit. But after meeting our guide, Ire, today, my perspective changed a bit. I usually prefer to interpret trips through my own lens and never really liked listening to explanations about places. However, when I heard the guide say, "I can't change the lens of your vision, but I can help you focus it," I started listening intently to the explanations. I began to reflect on what kind of perspective I've been taking when visiting places. To be honest, a big reason I signed up was to take photos, but before I knew it, I was on a trip where I was absorbing the impressions each stop gave me. The two-shot photo the guide took of my mom and me made my mom so happy that it made me happy too. We also got into Junpei, a restaurant in Biei town, smoothly without any waiting, and the conversation I had with the owner at the recommended cafe was so warm and pleasant. Although I was tired from waking up early, I laughed a lot thanks to the guide's infectious, happy laughter. Thank you! Congratulations on your marriage!

Hotel is located about 300m from Sapporo Station. There are 2 Mitsui Hotels, so make sure to check which one you booked but they are just next to each other. Mitsui Garden (West) I think is the older hotel but is well maintained and still look modern. Room is spacious enough compared to other Japan hotels. You can open large luggage on the floor and still can move around. Snacks (chocolate, biscuits, chips and drinks) are available for all guests at the lounge. There is no complimentary early check in. And you need to pay city tax upon arrival. Overall stay is good.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Biei tour was absolutely the best! The beautiful scenery of Biei was wonderful, and I was able to travel comfortably and enjoyably throughout the entire itinerary.
In particular, our guide, Hikaru, was so kind and attentive, which made the trip even more satisfying. The explanations during our travels were interesting, and they took beautiful photos for us, leaving us with many great memories.
If I ever come to Sapporo again, I would definitely love to take a Otaru tour with Guide Hikaru! Rakutour is a company you can trust and book with confidence. I highly recommend it to anyone considering a trip to Biei. Thank you!

The location of this hotel is very convenient and just a short walk from Sapporo Station. There are several station exits that lead directly to the hotel area, making it easy to get around, especially with luggage.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and I had a pleasant stay throughout my trip. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Sapporo.

I really love this hotel. It is super convenient and very close to Sapporo Station, taking less than a 5-minute walk.
There are also several convenience stores nearby, including FamilyMart, 7-Eleven, and Lawson, which makes everything very convenient during the stay. I also really liked the lounge area—it felt very welcoming and comfortable to relax in.
The staff were approachable and polite, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable as well. Most importantly, I appreciated the bilingual visual reminders throughout the hotel, which made it very easy and user-friendly for guests.

Had a very pleasant stay here. The location is super convenient and very close to Sapporo Station, with a few different exits leading to the hotel, which made travelling around easy.
The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again if I visit Sapporo in the future.

There are also plenty of convenience stores nearby like FamilyMart, 7-Eleven, and Lawson, which made things really easy. The lounge area is very welcoming and nice to hang out in.

The hotel is very new, and the front desk staff are all very friendly. The room space is larger than typical business hotels, and it's close to the station, about a five-minute walk. I would choose this hotel again next time.
