Things to do in Dazaifu

Our day tour to Dazaifu, Yufuin, Kamado Jigoku, and Umi Jigoku was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The itinerary was well-paced, giving us enough time to explore, take photos, shop, and truly enjoy each stop. A special thanks to our tour guide, Vivian, for making the experience even more memorable. She shared interesting stories and historical facts about every place we visited, which made us appreciate each destination on a deeper level. Her instructions were always clear, and she managed the schedule efficiently, ensuring we had enough free time while keeping the tour running smoothly. Vivian also went the extra mile by recommending local specialties and must-try food, helping us make the most of our visit. it was great tour! everything was simple easy and straight forward. definitely recommend anyone visiting Fukuoka for the first time. my only add would be the yanagawa boat ride, it should've organised a little better and clearer by the boat company. a lot of us were confused and ended up waited extra long for the ride unnecessarily. so that our time left for lunch was less and rush.

Super convenient and great value! I took the Klook tour to 草千里, 阿蘇神社, and 黑川温泉, and it was super convenient with high CP value. For someone like me who wanted to leave the tour at 黑川温泉 for an overnight stay, the cost was similar to traveling independently — but I also got to visit 草千里 and 阿蘇神社. The guides Eva and 쭈쭈 were fantastic, taking care of English, Korean, and Chinese-speaking guests. Eva even helped call my ryokan to arrange luggage delivery before we arrived, making the trip comfortable and stress-free for my mum and me, she cannot walk long distances and we were carrying a 28-inch luggage. Highly recommended! p.s. don’t miss the beef skewer from the food stall nearby the 阿蘇神社, it tastes great!

Highly recommend this tour, especially if you want to explore the Kyushu region efficiently or you're an Attack on Titan fan! We were a group of 3 adults and found it worked out cheaper than organising transport ourselves. The highlight was our guides, who were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, bilingual, and made the day so enjoyable with local insights and great recommendations. The coach was comfortable with excellent air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the July heat. The itinerary was well-paced with enough time at each stop, and everything ran perfectly on schedule. Some attractions, like Kamado Jigoku and the Attack on Titan Museum, require separate entry tickets, but they were inexpensive and still made the tour great value. A fantastic way to experience Kyushu without the stress of planning it yourself!

It was an easy and fulfilling day! ✨ The itinerary was well-planned, and every attraction had restrooms, making it suitable for children and seniors ☺️. Besides the beautiful scenery, there were many restaurant choices 🤤. Our tour guide, Xiao Guo, explained the unique features of each attraction and took photos for us at the sites, giving us a wonderful experience! I highly recommend this one-day tour! ✨✨✨

This was my first solo trip to Fukuoka, and the weather was incredibly hot. Luckily, I chose to join a local tour, which was an excellent decision. ❤️❤️ I've participated in various local tours in Japan and Korea before, but this time, our guide, Lily (Cheng Li), was the most professional and best guide I've ever encountered. Her voice was gentle and pleasant to listen to, and she spoke clearly and concisely. She was extremely knowledgeable about all the attractions and shopping itineraries in Fukuoka. She even sent us recommendations for souvenirs and restaurants. ❤️ Throughout the entire trip, she was very caring and friendly to every tour member! ❤️ She made my whole trip feel very comfortable! I hope to join a tour led by her again when I visit next time. 🥰

I think this one-day tour was fantastic. Not only was the buy-one-get-one-free deal incredibly good value, but they also gave us souvenirs at the end. What I really appreciated most was not having to worry about transportation. Our tour guide was also very professional, and his English was excellent. We had foreign tourists in our group, and the guide could switch from Chinese to English instantly. His English was very pleasant to listen to. The only downside was that the flowing noodle area was closed due to an earthquake or something similar, so we didn't get to try the flowing noodles, which was a bit of a shame. Also, some group members went boating and were late, but the guide waited for them.

Haha, our handsome guide, Mr. Wang, praised us, saying we bring our own halo! No matter which attraction we visited, the rain would suddenly disappear, only to resume once we got back in the car, haha. Overall, my partner and I were very impressed with Mr. Wang's excellent planning and the smooth flow of the itinerary. He skillfully avoided crowds and traffic, making every stop feel like a VIP experience, without any jostling. First, we recharged our energy with a refreshing natural waterfall, then we headed to the Ichiran Ramen factory for a satisfying meal. This itinerary exceeded our expectations, and we're so glad we signed up; we ate until we were happily full! Next, we revisited childhood memories, stretching our muscles and taking beautiful photos on the swings – so much fun! Then we saw a torii gate, which rarely comes in white... it was truly wonderful. The grand finale was boarding a boat filled with joy for an unprecedented, thrilling challenge, and we even got to hear locals singing – what a blissful feeling! This tour is truly worth recommending. Oh, and yes, you absolutely must buy the Yanagawa seaweed! Don't even think twice, just buy a ton to take home; you won't regret it, and it makes a great souvenir. It's not something you can find everywhere!
