Things to do in Pompeii Ruins

It was a fantastic trip! The vendor and customer service team promptly resolved any issues that arose. Our tour guide was also very attentive and thoughtful, ensuring we had enough time at each attraction. Thanks to the excellent organization, there were no delays. It was truly a wonderful journey!

Our guide, Ruoqing, was very friendly. Although an hour and a half felt a bit short, she made excellent use of the time to show us several places of interest. She also used visual aids to explain things, which helped us better imagine life in the past. For travelers who don't have much time or prefer not to navigate and research in the scorching sun (like us), this tour is incredibly practical!

It was a fulfilling tour. The weather was perfect, and it helped make our Italy trip with the kids unforgettable. Our guide, Nello, and driver, Luigi, were also excellent. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends!

Amazing tour and very knowledgeable tour guides, Alessandro has many stories to tell which is fun. Great experience as well to see the ruins of Pompeii and listen to history as told by Dimytrio (sorry if I spell the name wrong). Sorrento is a beautiful place and an absolute joy to wander around. Extremely satisfied! The Chinese explanation was clear and easy to understand, enriching the entire tour. We asked many historical questions about Pompeii and Herculaneum, including the daily lives of ancient Romans, the impact of the Vesuvius eruption, and stories of archaeological discoveries, and she explained everything in detail and with great clarity. The tour content was lively and engaging, and she patiently answered all our questions, giving us a deeper understanding of these two ancient cities. Highly recommended for travelers who wish to delve into the local history and culture!

An amazing and well-organized tour! Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius were absolutely incredible, and the experience was made even better by our guides, Daniela and Carmela (I hope I got the names right). I booked this tour with my family of 5 and it was so amazing! We had Flavio as our tour guide and Luca as the driver! So convenient as a traveller, we only had roughly 4 days in Rome so wanted to maximise the time by visiting another place but booking this all would have been a headache so this tour was great. I personally would have preferred more time in Sorrento (it was so beautiful and we only had 1.5hrs rather than 2hrs advertised- 2hrs still wouldn't be enough it was so beautiful) and less in Pompeii. I recommend booking directly through Citywonders website :-)

We visited the Sorrento and Pompeii ruins. The tour guide (don't remember her name) was knowledgeable and the trip was worth going. There was another guide (Claudia) assigned in the Pompeii ruins and it was a very enlightening tour. This made me realise the past Italy was also ahead of its time as explained by Claudia. Do visit from Rome if separate plan is not there for these locations.
