Pompeii Ruins-এ করার মতো জিনিস

This was one of the best tours I have been on and so comprehensive learning about what led up to the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, and how it affected both Herculaneum and Pompeii. Our guide, Fredo, was excellent. He answered all of our questions and was so knowledgeable about the area and how the eruption solidified these two towns in time. He was great at explaining the similarities and differences of both the towns back in 79 A.D. and the ruins/excavation/preservation of both sites to this day. Fredo also pointed out all of the best aspects of what is so significant about the ruins and highlighted the artistry of the architecture and art throughout the city in the various mosaic and frescoes. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone interested in learning about the history of these two towns. Just make sure to bring water and things to cover up (sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, etc.) as the day we went was sunny and hot.

ভ্রমণের সময় দীর্ঘ হওয়া সত্ত্বেও আমরা এই পুরো দিনের ভ্রমণটি সত্যিই উপভোগ করেছি, যদিও এটি সংক্ষিপ্ত ছিল। সেই দিনের আমাদের গাইড দুর্দান্ত ছিলেন এবং নিশ্চিত করেছিলেন যে এত বড় দল হওয়া সত্ত্বেও আমরা সবাই একসাথে আছি। সবাই সময়সীমা মেনে চলেছিল, তাই পরবর্তী এলাকায় যেতে সময়মতো সবকিছু হয়েছিল।

Thanks to our tour guide Michela, Pompeii guide Lily, and the Vesuvius guide (apologies, I don't remember his name) for their thoughtful and comprehensive introductions. Michela kindly led us throughout the day, Lily's detailed knowledge of Pompeii was impressive, and the Vesuvius guide's understanding of the volcano clearly showed his passion for nature. I distinctly remember after leaving Pompeii, our guide Michela quoted a line from the Bible's Ecclesiastes: "There is nothing new under the sun." This allowed us to imagine the lives of people 2,000 years ago through the ancient ruins and mountainous terrain! Due to the system's 3MB photo upload limit, I couldn't provide many of my good photos. I hope the system can improve this aspect.

আমরা যে তারিখটি বেছে নিয়েছিলাম, সেটি ইতালির সাইকেল রেসের সাথে মিলে গিয়েছিল, তাই আমরা নেপলস শহর ঘুরে দেখতে পারিনি। ভ্রমণের তিন দিন আগে আমরা একটি নোটিশ পেয়েছিলাম, যেখানে তারিখ পরিবর্তনের বিকল্পের কথাও উল্লেখ ছিল। আমরা ভেবেছিলাম পম্পেই তো যেতেই পারব, তাই আর উত্তর দিইনি। কিন্তু আয়োজকরা আমাদের সাথে যোগাযোগ করে বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করার জন্য ফোনও করেছিলেন, তাদের এই দায়িত্বশীলতার জন্য আমরা সত্যিই কৃতজ্ঞ। আমরা ভেবেছিলাম সবাই আগেই নোটিশ পেয়েছেন, কিন্তু সেদিন একত্রিত হওয়ার সময় দেখলাম, অন্যান্য প্ল্যাটফর্মের মাধ্যমে বুক করা অনেক সহযাত্রীই কোনো নোটিশ পাননি এবং সেদিন চেক-ইন করার সময় গাইডের মাধ্যমে জানতে পারেন যে তারা নেপলস যেতে পারবেন না। তখন সত্যিই আনন্দিত হয়েছিলাম যে আমরা ক্লুকের মাধ্যমে বুকিং করেছিলাম। আমাদের ইতালীয় গাইড অত্যন্ত পেশাদার এবং এই ভূমিকে ভালোবাসেন। তিনি সাবলীল ইংরেজি ও স্প্যানিশ ভাষায় আমাদের বিভিন্ন স্থানের বিশেষ দৃশ্য, বিখ্যাত স্থান এবং ঐতিহাসিক গল্প সম্পর্কে বর্ণনা করেছেন। পম্পেইতে যারা দলগত গাইডেড ট্যুরে অংশ নেননি, তাদের জন্যও তিনি অনেক পরামর্শ দিয়েছেন এবং আধুনিক পম্পেই শহরের ডেজার্ট টাইম সম্পর্কেও ব্যবহারিক তথ্য দিয়েছেন, যা আমাদের অনেক কাজে লেগেছে! আমাদের দায়িত্বশীল এবং বন্ধুত্বপূর্ণ গাইড ও ড্রাইভারকে অনেক ধন্যবাদ!

it was super worth it to book. we really had fun and we enjoyed the travel. especially the Pompeii the history was amazing the tour guide was amazing.

খুব ভালো একটি ভ্রমণ ছিল, সরবরাহকারী এবং গ্রাহক পরিষেবা দ্রুত সমস্যা সমাধান করতে পেরেছে। ট্যুর গাইডও খুব যত্নশীল এবং মনোযোগী ছিলেন, প্রতিটি দর্শনীয় স্থানের জন্য সময়মতো ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছিল। দলটি সুসংগঠিত হওয়ায় কোনো দেরি হয়নি, এটি একটি অসাধারণ ভ্রমণ ছিল!

This was more of a round-trip transfer from the port to Pompeii than an actual tour. The meeting point at the Naples port was difficult to find, and we had trouble locating our car. We eventually met up with the driver via WhatsApp. Once in the car, it was just our group of two and another group of two Chinese tourists. We drove for about 30 minutes to Pompeii, where we were given vouchers for our admission tickets and told the driver would pick us up at 1:00 PM. We were able to rent audio guides by showing our vouchers, but there was no Japanese option. The ruins were magnificent, preserved in a way that truly brings the past to life. However, be prepared for extensive walking with no shade, as the site is vast. For the return trip, we received an email stating the pickup would be at 1:30 PM, and a different driver and car arrived. Finally, at the Naples port, we were dropped off at a different cruise ship's location, and had to walk about 15 minutes to reach our own ship.

It was nice trip with Vincenzo. There were many walking but He always make us stay in shade. He was very kind, well know about our tour subject and fun. He said his Engnlish is poor but everyone in our group feels he is fluent English speaker.
