Izu Granpal Park tours

This is a very special and unforgettable small group tour within the country! Senior tour guide Mori Mu’s guidance and explanations on the bus were full of fun. He grasped the time appropriately and was neither rushed nor slow~ which made all of us in the bus feel at ease! The fireworks were beautiful and exciting, but unfortunately there was no music. I always felt that something was missing in the process... Since it is a tourist area, the local food prices are higher, but it is acceptable! It's a different experience to eat snacks from the stalls. Also, on this trip, we will go to Izu Panoramic Park to take the cable car, which is very high and the scenery is beautiful! Due to the large number of people and vehicles at the fireworks display, traffic jams are inevitable, so be mentally prepared! If you haven’t been there, you can go and experience it :)

Booked a day trip bcs we wanted to go to Shizuoka. When booing the trip, I specifically requested for halal/Muslim-friendly food recommendations. Our tour guide, Zhao, was very helpful in ensuring we manage to get Muslim-friendly food. He's also very knowledgeable about the places he brings us to and quite funny 😂. We enjoyed the trip a lot, exploring the beauty of Izu. Thank you, Zhao for all the explanations, guidance and assistance provided. Highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I've been on many tours to Japanese attractions, and this driver was the most unbelievable. He worked very hard driving, so I'll give him credit for that. However, he didn't provide even the most basic information about the sights, how to take the train, or even mention cutting short any attractions. He barely spoke a few words during the entire 9+ hour trip. I hope that drivers who also serve as guides receive proper training before serving customers.

Mr. Hada was professional, friendly, patient, and helpful throughout the trip. He drove safely, ensured that passengers were comfortable, and managed the itinerary efficiently while allowing us sufficient time to enjoy the attractions. His clear communication, punctuality, and positive attitude made the tour pleasant and enjoyable for everyone. We truly appreciated his dedication and excellent customer service, which contributed greatly to our wonderful experience at Mt. Omuro. Long drive along the coastline to Omuro, scenic and car was comfortable, ¥1000 pp for a cable ride to go up Omuro Mountain, fog rolled in so couldn’t see much, it was very chilly at the top so I brought a T-shirt for ¥3800, not much of a choice up there so just bring an extra shirt or jacket. Our guide, Wei, was very nice and accommodating, we managed to communicate through text on WhatsApp. we had about 2 1/2 hours to check out Omuro and the zoo, but it wasn’t clear, so some people had only half an hour to check out the zoo. The entrance fee of the zoo was ¥2800 on weekdays, save your cable ticket and get ¥100 off zoo fee. so much to see at the zoo so I would try to spend more time at the zoo, then drove to Jogasaki, walked along the jagged rocks and crossed a small bridge, which looked bigger and different in the ad. Then went to the marine market for 30 minutes, I did buy a lot only to realize it’s cheaper at the regular local stores. good trip to get away from city

Itinerary: Mount Omuro, train, coast. Time: Meet at 7:00 AM, return to Tokyo Marunouchi South Gate at 6:30 PM. Journey: There was some traffic on Saturday. We departed at 7:00 AM and arrived at 10:30 AM. We waited in line for about 15 minutes at Mount Omuro. After walking around and stopping, we didn't have time to eat udon noodles at the cafeteria. The train had seats facing the ocean, but the full ocean view didn't last very long. We spent about 35 minutes exploring the coast. Tour Guide/Driver: Master Long was enthusiastic, professional, and thoughtful. The day before, he helped everyone find the most convenient route in the group chat. He greeted us warmly first thing in the morning and provided detailed explanations for each location, including playtime, location, and important notes. He also thoughtfully considered various needs and always asked if anyone had other questions at the end of his explanations, assuring us we could ask him anytime. He delivered on this throughout the trip, making it a very comfortable day.

We had a wonderful experience on this Izu day tour! The meeting point was easy to find, and our driver spoke excellent English, making everything easy to understand. He was also very accommodating, especially whenever anyone needed a bathroom break. Although we were disappointed that Mt. Omuro was closed, the tour operator informed us ahead of time that it would be unavailable from June 15 to 25, which we appreciated. Instead, we visited Izu Shaboten Zoo, and it became one of the highlights of our trip. Interacting with the capybaras was so much fun, and many of the animals roamed freely, making the experience even more memorable. Jogasaki Coast was breathtaking, and crossing the Kadonowaki Suspension Bridge offered incredible ocean views. The seaside train ride was also scenic and relaxing. Even without Mt. Omuro, this tour exceeded our expectations and is one I would happily recommend.

Mt Omuro is nice with chairlift up. Jogasaki coast is beautiful too. The only disappointment is that we don't get a chance to go eat any of the food along rhe whole coastal area of fresh seafood. Understandably it is a long drive away from tokyo. would like to stay around here next time.
