I was truly impressed with this trip. Every place we visited was absolutely beautiful. The guide took great care of us and gave us enough time at each destination to fully enjoy and soak in the atmosphere. The travel time between each stop was just right, and I loved every destination along the way. I would definitely love to come back and take this trip again!

The tour was a very pleasant experience; we visited several important sites and received informative explanations about them, learning about the local culture. We are Brazilian and speak very little English, yet Willa was incredibly attentive and patient with us. We highly recommend this tour and are grateful to Willa.

Our tour guide was Mr. Gu Wenji. This was my first time joining a one-day tour like this, and it was a great experience. There was no hard selling, just a heartfelt sharing of local Japanese culture. Mr. Gu is very impressive; he speaks multiple languages. When giving explanations, he would repeat them in Japanese, Korean, and Chinese, so there was no need to worry about not understanding. I also want to give a special shout-out because the night before, I accidentally left my power bank at a restaurant. Since I don't speak Japanese and didn't have a Japanese phone card, I couldn't call them back. So, I asked Mr. Gu for help, and he was more than happy to assist. He even told me that if I encountered any difficulties in Osaka in the following days, I could contact him. Hearing that was truly heartwarming! If I have the chance to join another tour, I would hope Mr. Gu could be our guide again.

Her communication and instructions were clear, and she gave us plenty of time to explore on our own. We boarded the bus in Kyoto, and our tour group consisted of members from various countries. Our guide, Xiao Shen, switched into four-language mode, introducing everything in English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. His humorous and engaging style made everyone feel very comfortable. Xiao Shen handled all ticket purchases, coordination, and provided information about the train, Arashiyama route, and meeting points via Line. This allowed us to explore freely and simply meet at the designated time. The driver was excellent, providing a smooth ride that prevented motion sickness, and the seats were clean and comfortable. During the Hozugawa River boat ride, the weather was perfect. Four boatmen guided us downstream, introducing the environment and rock formations with simple animal vocabulary, accompanied by physical interactions and occasional tricks from the boatmen. With a gentle breeze and beautiful scenery, the trip was truly enjoyable.

Our guide Ms Shion was amazing! She is very enthusiastic and engaging. The walk covers quite a lot at a good pace but we didn’t spot any maikos or geishas which was my main objective. I wonder if the route could be reversed so there’s a higher chance of spotting the talented artistes at the the Queen of Geisha district?

I was really looking forward to the guide! Our guide, Oh Seok-bong! He was incredibly knowledgeable and witty, making the bus ride enjoyable and informative with his insights into Japanese culture. He guided us with such passion, and I highly recommend GOGODAY Tour. I used them in Fukuoka and was satisfied, so I plan to use them again for my next trip. My father and son both had a great time.
