Kyoto - Tango Sea Train & Amanohashidate Cable Car & Ine Boathouse Boat Tour (Departure from Osaka)

Overall, a great tour with an excellent guide, Liu, and a well planned itinerary. It would’ve been even better if the cherry blossoms had bloomed, but our timing didn’t work as we won’t be in Osaka then. The highlight was the “Ine Bay Boat” experience very interactive with seagull and eagle feeding. I’d recommend choosing the ticket that includes all activities. Amanohashidate felt a bit rushed, but that’s understandable due to Japan’s strict 13 hour driver limits to ensure we return on time. One downside was a crying baby during the bus transfer for about 5 hours, which made that part quite uncomfortable as everyone’s tired from waking up so early. Overall still an enjoyable experience.

This sea train and Ine Boathouse + Amanohashidate trip was so wonderful 🥰 The sea at Ine Boathouse is so clear, with rows of houses lined up along the coast, it's like a fairytale world! When I was taking pictures by the sea, I kept thinking, "Is this real? How can it be so beautiful~" When we got to Amanohashidate, the sandbar seen from above was truly spectacular! That sea view was so beautiful it was almost unreal 🤍 The sea train moves slowly along the coast, with the entire blue sea outside the window, the healing index is 100 points! Feeding the seagulls was so much fun! There are also eagles 🦅 that appear. We were screaming and laughing, it was so exciting and fun 😂 Most of all, I want to thank our lovely little sister tour guide, Joanna 🫶 She took so many beautiful photos of me and my husband at Ine Boathouse, and she captured us so naturally and beautifully, it was amazing! Because of your dedication and thoughtfulness, this trip became more relaxed, happier, and left us with many precious memories 💕 I'm so lucky to have met such a warm and professional beauty tour guide like you~ Next time I have the chance, I will definitely want to find you again to play together 🤍

On Sunday, July 26th, it was my first time participating, and I had only confirmed the itinerary late the night before, so I was initially quite worried. However, I received a confirmation email and itinerary reminder from Klook. The next morning, we met at Nihonbashi Station to board the bus, and I noticed many others were also going on the same tour. Our guide, Liu Du, was very attentive; he explained important information and briefly introduced the sights in Chinese, English, and Japanese. After getting off the bus, he would also send reminders via Line about the meeting point and time. He patiently answered all our questions, and I'm very grateful for that. The most memorable part was taking the chairlift up and down the mountain at Amanohashidate, and it was also very fun to take a boat ride and feed the seagulls at the beautiful Ine Funaya. This experience was truly wonderful! I would definitely participate in a similar tour again if I have the chance.

The chairlift ride up to Amanohashidate offered beautiful views and was a fun experience on its own. The scenery at Amanohashidate was absolutely stunning and definitely lived up to its reputation as one of Japan’s most beautiful views. Another highlight was the boat ride in Ine Funaya. Feeding the seagulls while they flew alongside the boat was such a unique and memorable experience. The traditional boathouses and peaceful coastal atmosphere made Ine one of our favorite stops on the tour. Overall, the tour was well-organized, enjoyable, and worth every penny. Today, I joined Tour Guide Hu's Gogoday tour. Since I had received an email a few days prior, I easily found Tour Guide Hu and met up with the group. The timing and crowd control were excellent; as long as you follow his recommendations, you'll have a great time, and his explanations are very precise. The story behind Amanohashidate is quite interesting. The sea train was very crowded on the weekend, so we had to stand for a while. If you're not on a tour, there are expensive options like the Kuromatsu train you can take. Feeding the seagulls was a delightful surprise, but you do need to watch out for the eagles. The boathouses (Funaya) are very unique. Overall, it's a place that's usually difficult to reach by public transport, but the scenery along the way is quite pleasant. By the end of the day, you'll feel like, "Wow, it ended so quickly, and I want to keep exploring!"

It was a very wise decision to book a one-day tour. The itinerary was well-paced. Our guide, Mr. Fu, was young and capable, and he introduced the characteristics and history of each attraction in advance, which provided an excellent sense of immersion. In the morning, we visited Amanohashidate, where the scenery was magnificent. We rode the retro cable car; having ridden one before at Sumaura Park in Kobe, I wasn't scared this time. Although both were cable cars, the scenery was vastly different. In the afternoon, we went to Ine Funaya, where we managed to get photos of the popular ice cream shop and fed the seagulls. Each experience was unique.

Overall, the experience was excellent. The pickup and drop-off location was very close to my hotel, and the places we visited on the tour were wonderful. My only regret is not having enough time to fully enjoy a coffee and the beautiful scenery at the cafe in Ine Funaya. The highlight of the entire trip for me was feeding the seagulls at sea. The tour guide was also very responsible. I highly recommend this one-day tour for anyone visiting Osaka.

The entire trip went very smoothly. We visited several major attractions that would have been very difficult to reach on our own. Although we started early, we still felt like we didn't have enough time to explore everything, especially Amanohashidate, which had many playground facilities for children. Feeding the seagulls was also a lot of fun. These spots were perfect for taking beautiful photos. Our tour guide, Mr. Wong, wasn't overly talkative, which allowed us plenty of time to rest in the car, but he was very attentive and provided excellent service.

All departures for this trip were very punctual. The tour guide provided detailed explanations throughout the journey and even adjusted the schedule to allow an extra 10 minutes at Amanohashidate. Each location was small but offered great photo opportunities, and the weather was excellent, making for a very pleasant experience. Overall, I felt that the Tango train portion wasn't really necessary; I should have chosen a day trip that included other attractions instead. Today I joined Director Hu for a day tour of "Japan's Three Views Amanohashidate Cable Car, Japan Tango Sea Train, and Ine Boathouse Cruise." The itinerary was very fulfilling but the pace was very relaxed, allowing us to slowly admire the stunning scenery of the Sea of Japan on the Sea Train, overlook the "Flying Dragon View" from the Amanohashidate Cable Car mountain, and experience an unforgettable Ine Boathouse Cruise (because it was my first time feeding seagulls and eagles). Everywhere was a memorable scene. Director Hu's explanations were meticulous, and he clearly explained the photo angles and meeting times. He took great care of the tour members, making the whole day stress-free, fun, and safe. Thank you, Director Hu, for your professional and thoughtful guidance, making this day tour of the Tango Sea Train, Amanohashidate Cable Car, and Ine Boathouse the most memorable day of our Kansai trip. I will definitely recommend to friends to find Director Hu for this tour when they come to Japan next time.
