On the menu that day, we ordered crab meat and corn soup. We didn't expect that such a simple soup would taste outstanding. Another starter is honey grilled chicken wings with wild mushrooms, poached eggs and black truffle sauce. I didn't expect the chicken wings to be so delicious. I smiled and told the staff that I hope I can make such delicious chicken wings one day. For the main meal, I chose fish, which was served with white wine cream sauce, which tasted very tangy. Cooking Western food is not difficult, but making a delicious sauce requires considerable effort. My husband ordered the stir-fried Australian beef tenderloin with Sha Jiao, which I thought tasted pretty good. For dessert, we ordered lemon baba with blueberries and strawberry cake with guava strawberry sorbet. I prefer strawberry cake with sorbet. It turns out that the set meal also includes drinks. I ordered Ice Mocha, and the waiter suggested adding half the cream, because whole cream is too evil, and drinks with an evil after-drinking feeling are the most delicious. Although this dinner is simple, it is very cost-effective, costing only more than 400 yuan per person and including service charge. The staff are polite and nice. The most important thing is that you are happy and value for money.
Great value for money dinner set with a good choice of appetiser, main & dessert! Great location in Central & cosy environment. You won’t be disappointed with the services in Mandarin Oriental!
The taste was good. The waiters were not very enthusiastic overall, but they responded when I called them. They seemed tired and busy, which was different from what I imagined the service at Mandarin Oriental should be. The appetizer was just okay. For the main course, the three of us chose steak, which tasted good. We all wanted to lose weight so we didn’t finish the dessert. I wrote "Happy Birthday" and candles as requested in the notes and I am very satisfied. Finally, I bought a scone to take away, but the scone I took away was charged 10%, which means a scone cost almost 100, which is really expensive🥲
The restaurant knew that a relative had a birthday and sent a small birthday cake as a handwritten birthday card. The food was rich and delicious, and I was so full. There were coffee and cookie snacks, and a huge tea pot that could hold five or six cups... It was my first time eating CP. Exciting fine dining
The service was very attentive; they even brought a small cake because it was a family member's birthday. The food quality was excellent, maintaining their consistent high standards.
The environment is quiet, the seats are comfortable, and it's close to the subway station. The waiters are all very polite and happy. First, let’s have a hand-made round bun, which is very high quality. Salmon salad 🥗With the addition of lime, it tastes almost fresh and full of salmon. The beef tenderloin is a big portion, which is enough for a woman. Desserts and coffee are a highlight. I left the table happily. 👍👍👍👍👍
Enjoying afternoon tea at this price is simply top-notch! I especially appreciated the attentiveness of the staff - I called the restaurant the day before my visit to ask if they could arrange a window seat for me and a friend to celebrate his birthday. Although the staff didn't agree, they finally arranged a seat of our choice for us. Moreover, the staff remembered my gentle words and put birthday chocolate cards on the cake, which surprised us all. Food-wise, the waffles they make are delicious, especially with the rosette jam that goes so well with them. Desserts are larger than salty ones, so be sure to save your belly before having afternoon tea. (The afternoon tea provided by Café Causette and Clipper Lounge is the same, it depends on which restaurant the diners want to go to and what kind of scenery they want to see.)
I really love the ambiance of the restaurant. I was seated by the window, and if I had been seated in the middle, it would have felt more like a cafe and not as high-end as the window seat. The service was very attentive, the servers were friendly, and the food was exquisite and delicious. I especially enjoyed the scallop salad and the beef tenderloin main course. The price includes a service charge, so you can just leave after you're done, which feels like a great deal! Also, even though it's a 2-hour dining period, I felt like I could stay longer without being rushed. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable dining experience!
A very satisfying dinner! The presentation was beautiful, the food was of high quality, and the waiters, especially Timothy, treated us very well. We were very happy! It would be even more perfect if there were more choices for the main dishes in the set dinner!
It is easy to use after purchase. You only need to provide your phone number when entering to take a seat. The restaurant environment is dark. The lobster soup is a bit salty, but the beef fillet, fish fillet and dessert are all good.
