buying the entry ticket via klook will save you $1. it takes less than an hour to visit all the x3 buildings, wander to the temple, garden, visit the shop and have a free voucher coupon coffee or tea drink at their cafe. its a really nice collection of Balinese style art. highly recommend visiting. its pricey entry fee but worth stopping by, once.
Slight huccip at the counter because the person at the counter didn't know what to do with the Klook voucher purchased. He had to make a few calls and I wasted a good 15 minutes because of this being stuck at the counter. Budget at least 20 minutes to be stuck as long as training to the staff to handle this issue is still not given. Still highly recommended because it's cheaper than tickets at the counter and eventually got me in. Still 5 stars because the museum was comprehensive and tells the story of Bali through the paintings. Amazing collection!
Easy to redeem. Ticket includes welcome drink and mini booklet about the museum. We spent two hours or more viewing the galleries. Their garden is also beautiful to chill and rest.
Regardless of the price, it is a place worth visiting at least once in Ubud. There are a lot of works and the walking course is well established, so if you get tired while walking, you can go to a cafe and use the free voucher. I was surprised that there were more beautiful Balinese traditional works than I expected, and I was surprised twice because the Americano was very bitter and tasteless!! (Not recommended for coffee) The exhibition hall's cooling system is not good and it is semi-outdoor, so avoid going when the sun is shining. I went around 4:30 and stayed until it closed at 6:00.
A quaint art museum depicting a mix of Balinese culture and some of the foreign influences. The museum houses private art of the Agung Rai family and others. Spent a good 3 hours here. The place also has a cafe and a restaurant. On Saturday they also have Kecak performance along with buffet dinner. Would recommend this place to anyone interested in culture and art.
Both the modern art museum and the traditional art museum are worth seeing. The garden seems to be well-maintained, and the rice field view on the hill behind is also quite nice. The welcome coffee and black tea at the Warung at the entrance were delicious. The works are quite worth seeing. I liked the landscape paintings the most.
3 different places inside you can check out, very interesting if you're into cultural art
The paintings were nice in the museum's exhibition room on a fairly large site, but the Balinese traditional garden rice fields and trees outside the exhibition room on the side of the resort building were overall good. Drinks were included at the café after the tour, so it was good value for money.
