Museum Puri Lukisan Admission in Ubud Bali

We really liked the museum. It consists of 4 buildings, which contain paintings painted on fabrics, and also paintings by contemporary artists.

thought it would be bigger as seen on photos and reviews. had a ton of insect bites even when we were in the buildings too. nonetheless, the paintings were beautiful and extremely detailed. maybe we just wanted more since we travelled 1 hr to get here

I personally feel that the entrance fee was mainly collected for maintenance of their place. The landscaping and gardens were amazing, however the exhibits were dated. They do have a mix of some modern ones too. We weren’t allowed to take photos of the paintings in one of the halls, and some of the halls’ lightings were really dim, so the experience was a tad underwhelming for that end for a paid entrance museum. I was lucky to stumble upon an artist painting at the entrance of one of the halls and I had a really good chat with him. If anything it was the interaction with this artist that made me feel better about the entire experience. Will recommend to anyone who wishes to explore more Balinese art styles as compared to the commercial ones are Ubud art market. Out of 4 halls, the last hall had half hall occupied and the other half was empty, possibly due to changes in curation.

The purchase process is simple, convenient and easy to use. There are four halls in the museum, which are not very large but have many paintings and statues.

Overall a very enjoyable experience! Located right at the heart of ubud, the setting of tge museum is like a garden, very zen and blissful, does not seem to draw the crowd and good for a quiet breather!

Despite reading bad reviews, I liked the museum. Very authentic. Beautiful grounds. Very good price on Klook.

I'm glad we were able to save a bit of money by booking the tickets online - just show the code at the entrance. I liked this museum, they had 3 different buildings with paintings and sculptures. It was definitely worth seeing!

lot cheaper in klook..in museum you have to pay 95000 IDR here on klook it's just 60000 IDR! Museum itself is worth a visit once. It's divided in 4 buildings in 4 directions.
