What to expect
Experience a rare sumo tradition at Ryogoku Kokugikan, Tokyo's historic national sumo arena. Attend the official retirement ceremony of Hidenoumi, a former top-division professional sumo wrestler, and witness the traditional hair-cutting ritual known as a danpatsu-shiki
The program is scheduled to include a ring-entering ceremony by invited professional wrestlers, Hidenoumi's hair-cutting ceremony, special matches between talented high-school wrestlers and professionals, and his appearance after the haircut
