Discover Japan’s centuries-old fermentation culture in this fun and educational cooking class in Tokyo. Led by Naoko, a certified Grade 1 Fermented Food Expert, you’ll learn how traditional ingredients like miso, amazake, and soy sauce contribute to flavor, gut health, and overall wellness.
In just 2 hours, enjoy a perfect mix of hands-on cooking and engaging stories about the history and benefits of fermentation. You’ll prepare easy, healthy dishes such as chicken teriyaki (or tofu for vegans), onigiri, vegetable sides, miso soup, and a sweet amazake dessert.
With only six participants per class, this intimate experience offers plenty of personal guidance and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere—ideal for anyone curious about Japanese food culture and wellness.
