Waitomo Glowworm Caves περιηγήσεις

First, we walked through the cave, admiring the beautiful natural art created by the stalactites. Then, we boarded a boat and continued deeper into the cave. In the silent cave, the occasional sound of dripping water echoed, and looking up at the ceiling where the glowworms' lights flickered, I was enveloped in a strange sensation, as if I were in another world. The cave tour itself lasted just under an hour. Although it was a long 5-hour round trip from Auckland, I'm glad I went. On the way there, we stopped at a coffee shop for a light meal. Photography is prohibited inside the cave, so at the entrance, they took a blue-screen photo of us, and after the tour, we could purchase data or prints that combined our photo with images from inside the cave.

The guide was very humorous and witty, and their photography skills were also quite good. I initially thought it would be tiring, but it wasn't at all. Inside, you can see not only fireflies but also many stalactites. I highly recommend checking it out. We drove ourselves there, and the location wasn't hard to find.

Το τοπίο ήταν εκπληκτικό και υπήρχαν πολλές ευκαιρίες για να βγάλουμε αξέχαστες φωτογραφίες. Το άνετο πολυτελές βαν έκανε το ταξίδι χαλαρωτικό και ευχάριστο, επιτρέποντάς μας να καθίσουμε αναπαυτικά και να απολαύσουμε το όμορφο τοπίο κατά μήκος της διαδρομής.

Απόλαυσα πραγματικά το ταξίδι. Είδα τα πουλιά κίβι και ήταν πολύ χαριτωμένα. Δυστυχώς, δεν μπορείτε να τα φωτογραφίσετε, επειδή τα φλας της κάμερας και τα έντονα φώτα μπορούν να βλάψουν τα ευαίσθητα μάτια τους. Αλλά τα πουλιά κίβι ήταν πολύ χαριτωμένα! Εκτός από αυτό, το αγαπημένο μου μέρος του ταξιδιού ήταν η επίσκεψη στην Blue Spring. Ήταν τόσο όμορφο και φαινόταν εξωπραγματικό. Επιπλέον, ο ξεναγός μας ήταν πολύ φιλικός και μας είπε πολλά ενδιαφέροντα πράγματα για τη Νέα Ζηλανδία και το Ώκλαντ.

very lovely tour giving us enough time to explore and we even arrived early back in auckland. Our driver and guide made the trip so much more enjoyable and filled us in on interesting insights along the way, will come back again with family!

Our Hobbiton, Waitomo Caves, and Flexi Tours experience was absolutely amazing! Hobbiton truly felt like stepping into Middle-earth, with stunning scenery and incredible attention to detail. The glowworms in the Waitomo Caves were breathtaking, and our guide, Cuppa Tea, was informative, entertaining, and even treated us to a beautiful song. Bunty from Flexi Tours made our journey even more enjoyable with his friendly personality, fascinating insights about New Zealand, and a bonus stop at a beautiful hanging bridge. Our group of four felt safe, well looked after, and had an unforgettable trip. Highly recommend these experiences to anyone visiting New Zealand! 🇦🇺

Ο Brad ήταν ένας εξαιρετικός οδηγός. Αν και αρρωσταίνω εύκολα με το στομάχι μου και με πιάνει ναυτία στο αυτοκίνητο, υπήρχαν τακτικά διαλείμματα για τουαλέτα και η οδήγηση ήταν ομαλή, χωρίς απότομα φρεναρίσματα, οπότε ένιωσα ασφαλής. Φυσικά, η θέα, η περιήγηση στο χωριό Hobbiton και η περιήγηση στους πυγολαμπίδες ήταν όλα υπέροχα. Αν και δεν είμαι πολύ καλή στα αγγλικά, επειδή ήταν μια μικρή ομάδα, όλοι ήταν φιλικοί και πέρασα πολύ ωραία.

Nice tour guide. I wrongly booked the destination to Rotorua, so I was so panicked when I noticed this. By keeping calling the CS, luckily they answered and let me change to round-trip back to Auckland at 7am on the trip day. Thanksful for that! Enjoyed a lot in the trip. The nature of NZ is so amazing!
