Ήταν μαγευτικό το σκηνικό του Χόμπιτον και οι Σπηλιές των Πυγολαμπίδων. Υπέροχη ημερήσια εκδρομή! Εξαιρετικό και το μεσημεριανό. Συγχαρητήρια στον ξεναγό μας, τον Ρίτσαρντ, παρόλο που είναι νέος, έκανε ό,τι καλύτερο μπορούσε για να το κάνει αξέχαστο για εμάς. Συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα την εκδρομή με την Cheeky Kiwi Tours.

This small group tour was great with two very friendly and interesting guides to drive us through the amazing region of Auckland, Cambridge, Hamilton and Waitomo. The journey to the first stop in the Alexander Farm in Watamata to get to the movie set Hobbiton was extraordinary accross the countryside, with our two guides full of anecdotes about the history of the land. The visit of the movie set itself, with a great guide, was incredible, with a story to every Hobbit hole of the set and many fun stories of the behind the scenes of the movie shooting. The visit ends with the exploration of two remodeled Hobbit holes in which it is so fun to take photos among the furnitures. The Hobbiton tour is followed with a drink at the tavern the Green Dragon. After the movie set, it was fine having a well deserved lunch at a local authentic restaurant, and to the next step: the exploration of the mysterious Waitomo Glowworm Caves, a wonder of NZ, with a passionate local guide. Amazing experience! Hobbiton was magical and picture-perfect, while the Waitomo glowworm caves were breathtaking. Great guide, smooth transport, and unforgettable scenery. Highly recommended for all ages!

I just got back from the Cheeky Kiwi Tours small group trip to Hobbiton, Rotorua, and Te Puia, and I'm still buzzing from the experience! The sites themselves were absolutely stunning - I mean, who wouldn't want to step into Middle-earth and explore the magical world of Hobbiton? And Rotorua's geothermal wonders and Maori cultural experiences at Te Puia were just as breathtaking. But what really made this trip unforgettable was our amazing guide and driver, Aled! Although Welsh by birth, Aled is a certified Kiwi at heart, and it shows in his passion and knowledge for all things New Zealand. The guy is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge about Kiwi history, culture, and random fun facts. He wove these "did you know" tidbits seamlessly into the tour, making it feel like we were getting the inside scoop on all things NZ. And the best part? He's got a wicked sense of humor! Aled's love for his adopted country and its people shines through, and he made sure we were all having the best time

The pickup was very on time. The drive was comfortable and smooth with water and little snacks and our guide Grant told us stories about the places along the way and where we were heading to. He was very nice and funny and could answer any questions we asked, also sorted out all ticketing so we didn't have to do anything. We just ate and had fun the hobbiton movie set and glow worm caves were incredible and magical i love it!!! super pretty. On the way back we got to stop at an ice cream place and that was a really nice touch and we got home smoothly. Thank you for the trip ~

everything went on very well as planned according to itinerary. The guide was friendly and humourous, making sure everyone had a good time. Transport was arranged to pick up right in front from the hotel stay so it was really convenient and I personally enjoyed this tour very much.

We board this trip with Hanos, a friendly driver/guide who had a lot of experience in traveling. He did an excellent job of breaking the ice with the group and made us feel comfortable together. He gave us plenty of surprises with 3 rest stops + 1 out-of-the-box stop! Hobbiton and the Waitomo Caves themselves are really stunning, but if you go with Cheeky Travel, I guarantee it will be epic!

Amazing tour with one of the best driver/guide. The guide at Cheeky Travel is extremely friendly, and takes extra miles to ensure that you are comfortable. The journey itself is great as well. Hobbiton is beautiful like a garden.

Great experience. The tour makes you appreciate the amount of work that was put through in creating this part of the movie. Our driver, Brendan was knowledgeable of other tourist attractions and recommendations. Waitomo Caves were pretty awesome, with our guide Taylor explaining the cave structure and the glowworm. The boat ride to see the glowworms felt short, so this would have been nicer if it was a little longer. We also stopped by to see some local Ostriches and the chance to feed them also. Great trip!

The trip with cheeky kiwi travels was very enjoyable. The mini van was very comfortable, spacious and warm. Our tour guide arrived on time and we were very lucky to be in a small group (my family of 4 and another family of 3). Tour guide was very friendly and knowledgable. Sufficient time was given at each stop and enough toilet breaks. We are not LOTR fans but we enjoyed hobbiton very much. The hobbiton guide was very friendly and funny and the views were breathtaking. The surrounding decor was also very detailed and lovely. Waitomo caves were less impressive but the waitomo guide was also very knowledgeable and funny.
