Things to do in Cu Chi Tunnel

Our guide John is very knowledgeable and very fluent in English. Journey time is about 1.5hrs each way. Optional shooting range but we didn’t do it as we have young kids. The tunnels are very interesting, but the ceiling is very low, have to squat walk, especially the 3rd tunnel where the ceiling gets lower with slopes. On the way back, there is a stopover at an art factory where victims of Viet war create and sell art works made of egg shells and seashell. There was no hard selling though. Overall recommended

Our tour guide Kelvin and Stephen explained the tunnels clearly, they both speak really good english. We are a group of 6, and they look for us when and make sure we are together as a group. They also provide free water and wipes since its hot and humid. Even though the stories of war is sad and scary, Kelvin adds humor so the vibe isn’t too heavy. He makes the group laugh. Very friendly as well. Thank you Kelvin!

It was such an eye-opening, hands on experience that we won’t get to see anywhere else! Our tour guide, Binh, made it incredibly special with his wonderful personality and passion, making us feel comfortable immediately from the start of the journey to the very end. The food portion was generous and accommodating to those with dietary restrictions. Only downside was the long bus rides in between but it was not a major issue to us. 10/10 recommend this!

After the call from our tour guide Jack at 8:15am we just cross the street at Ben than and alighted on the awaiting bus. few more tourists alighted and off we go to our destination. Our first stop was a handicraft store where the workers are those with disabilities. Then we arrived at our destination after less than two hours. Jack is knowledgeable about the history of the tunnel. He can speak well in English, hence, it was easy for the group to understand. Some tried to go down the hole, enter the tinnel, and did the firing. We were brought to a nearby restaurant where we had a taste of the bestseller pho. since it was not included in the package, each guest paid for their own food which is reasonably priced. Arrived in Ben than for the drop off point at around 3pm. The ride was ok and so is our tour guide Jack.

We had a great guide (Mr. Huy of SST Travels). He kept us on track thus we got see the all sights clearly (no fog). Also aparently we came at a good time cause the crowd wasn't too big. Cu Chi had a lot of people but the tour itself was seamless and organized. The tour is great for all ages. Personally, I would recommend the 60m tunnel walk - provided you're short, don't have any knee issues, and have strong thighs 🤣

As a first timer in HCM, Vietnam, this definitely set my expectation amongst all the guides that we've experienced so far. John Wick was there to guide our group all throughout the tour and was always there to answer our queries. He brought us to well-known places with proper orientation before engaging into the activities. Kudos to our tour guide for asking for our consent before doing a certain activity. Definitely a value for money!
