Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Tour with Luxury Limousine Options

We started the day at the Cu Chi Tunnels, where we learned how incredibly resilient and resourceful the Vietnamese people were during the war. Seeing the tunnels, the ingenious traps, and hearing the stories of how they lived underground gave me a whole new level of respect for their history. We even got to try cassava and tea—the simple meal that kept many of them going during those difficult times. It definitely hits differently when you know the story behind it. A couple of hours later, we made our way to the Mekong Delta, and the hospitality just kept coming. We were treated to local performances while snacking on fresh tropical fruits and tea. Then, we visited a coconut candy factory, then took a small boat through the Mekong River while learning how these waterways became a strategic advantage during the war. Kudos to Mia for being the best guide ever!

I booked a joined-bus for our family of 4, the tour guide Kenny is very helpful, friendly. accommodating. I got surprised when we rode a small van(like a limousine van- Ford)that's very cozy, spacious and just a small group instead of a large so we were impressed, the van accommodates 16pax only and that's a thumbs up for us, this is actually more expensive than bus but I paid the bus price so it's a huge deal. our guide explained to us very detailed about the history of HCMCity, Cu Chi tunnel Mekong River. the food we ate during lunch was ok, complete meal. Mekong River was enjoyable we had a lot of free food like coconut candies, fresh fruits and tea, honey also. cheaper souvenir also when you buy through the tour instead in the markets in the city.

I decided to take a last minute next day tour at 6pm (not a good example, please plan earlier) and received a quick confirmation from Kaylee. I am glad that I made this decision as the tour is comprehensive covered 2 places in 1 day. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, energetic and caring always let us know everything in advance without us asking. His itinerary helped us to avoid the tourist crowds. overall it was a fabulous day trip and I recommend everyone should take it!

We received very friendly assistance and guidance from Rose at SST Travel agency, and a wonderful guide named Simon/Hung who told us more about the country's history and the war. It was very impressive to see and experience the Cu Chi tunnels. In the afternoon, we took a boat trip on the Mekong Delta River, visiting a few islands, which was a nice change of pace. This tour is definitely recommended and great for seeing all the highlights in one day.

This tour is one of the highlights of our Vietnam trip. We visited the lacquer painting workshop, Cu Chi tunnels, Coconut candy workshop and had some fruit snacks, cultural serenade, and boat ride at the Mekong Delta River. Our tour guide was Anna - she is very charming, kind and knowledgeable. She shared a lot of trivias about Ho Chi Minh and even demonstrated how to use the tools in the coconut candy workshop! She's so good and also our bus driver. The tour overall is great!

TRAVIS is the BEST tour guide. Absolutely loved the rowboat tour! If you are visiting Vietnam, you cannot miss a boat trip through the lush coconut groves of Bến Tre. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing to slide through the narrow waterways. The local people are so warm and welcoming, Such a fun day out on the water!

😍 This is my fourth time visiting Vietnam, but my first time in Saigon. Instead of the city center, which has changed almost beyond recognition from a century ago, I was more eager to visit the Mekong Delta to experience its golden sunsets and muddy waters, and to live the life Marguerite Duras experienced a hundred years ago, imagining a lover from northern China here... 🙏 A special thank you to Mr. Simon for his detailed and engaging tour service. The weather was great, and it was a very fulfilling day tour! Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly, which helped deepen my understanding, and I was very grateful for that. I truly enjoyed the best parts of the tour. All the lunch dishes were delicious (the flavors were exactly to my liking). The authentic crispy rice, in particular, was excellent. We also got to experience the bounty of the majestic Mekong River from the boat, and I thoroughly enjoyed the charm of the small sampan boat we rode at the end. Exploring the island in a cart-like vehicle was also fun, as it offered a glimpse into the daily lives of local families. And finally, I must say that our tour guide's kind words and attentiveness throughout the tour were a great help. I won't forget how patient they were with my limited English and their thoughtful consideration. I definitely want to come back to Ho Chi Minh City and take another tour with them!
