A very special experience. Camper vans are generally rare. In addition, the view from the window is great. It's a pity it rained this day, otherwise the night view would have been even better.

Visiting Hehuan Mountain and Wuling in winter is very cold, but the tour guide will find the best sunrise viewing spot for you to enjoy at your leisure. If there are stars along the way, we will stop the car for a brief explanation, and we will also talk about the past history of some indigenous peoples. There will be a 5-10 minute stop at each scenic spot, which seems like a short time, but it is more than enough in such cold weather. The tour guide will also help everyone take pictures with the Hehuan Mountain National Park sign. You'll be able to rest on the car rides, and there won't be much explanation during that time. At an altitude of 3275 meters, the air is thin on the mountain, so be aware of altitude sickness symptoms.

this was a great experience for us. we were informed a day before about the pickup arrangement. bus came on time. the weather was good so we had a great time watching the stars before proceeding to the Hehuanshan for the sunrise viewing. since snow fell during the previous days. snow and ice were still along the side of the road adding to the experience. mountain slopes still had snow. Temperature was freezing, you need to clothe properly. The experience was great because the weather was good. If the weather were rainy or foggy, there will be nothing to see.

“Qingjing and Hehuan Mountain are absolutely breathtaking! With Guide Albert Liu, the timing was perfect for clear skies and stunning views. The climb was both fun and rewarding, and staying at Ming Ding Hotel on the top floor gave us an unforgettable sunrise over the mountains. Highly recommend visiting—this is an experience I’ll personally do again!”

They come and pick you up at your accommodation within the renai area they’ve high light. So quite alright, but you need to get up quite early for the sunrise. for my situation, they pick me up at 4:15am and I never saw the sunrise as it was cloudy on that day. I think at this price is worth it. Its unlikely you can get this rate If you book the tour outside renai town or at Taichung instead.

As a Korean, I was worried about the Chinese tour, but it was such a touching and fulfilling tour!!
The bus driver took care of each person and took great photos.
I was looking around outside not knowing it was a break time to regroup, and I'm so thankful for the Chinese couple who took care of me.
The bus arrived on time in front of the hotel, and everyone was on board around 4:20.
The tour order was:
First, stargazing (the stars really poured down), the guide explained the constellations for about 10 minutes.
Second, stopped at the restroom in the parking lot.
Third, took a photo at the top of Hehuanshan.
Fourth, watched the sea of clouds + sunrise point and took pictures.
Fifth, took photos at a photo spot where the mountains are layered.
Sixth, stopped at the fruit market for a restroom break, fruit tasting, and purchase (the fruit was really delicious).
I arrived back at the hotel at 7:20.
It was a tour I definitely wanted to participate in if I visit Cingjing again. Highly recommended.

We didn’t get to see the sunrise due to the fog and rain (it’s really a matter of luck though). But it’s still nice to see the star along the way to Mountain Hehuanshan. It was chilly up there, so make sure you have a jacket to keep yourself warm. Customer reps were nice, yet we expect responses to queries in a more promptly manner (the service is not 24/7).

The scenery along the way was absolutely beautiful! My driver was safe, provided some explanations, and also helped take photos. The pick-up and drop-off times at the various B&Bs along the route were perfectly arranged. When a passenger didn't arrive at the designated pick-up point at the agreed time, the driver had no choice but to continue to the next stop (completely understandable). However, the amount of time spent at each attraction was a bit short, possibly because it's difficult to park a minibus. I feel like a tour group with a 9-seater van would be more flexible. Overall, this trip is perfect for solo travelers as it's easy and carefree. Driving yourself would be cheaper and offer more freedom, allowing you to include activities like mountain climbing and spend more time at each location. Highly recommended for solo travelers looking for a relaxing getaway!
