The explanation of the tour guide was very clear and detailed.He also gave us free time and water breaks.His time management was excellent and he is also free to our questions about the colosseum and the Palastine hill.Overall,he is a professional tour guide.

I booked the Colosseum Arena Tour with Palatine Hill & Roman Forum through Carpe Diem Tours, and the experience was smooth and enjoyable. Their communication is excellent — very responsive on WhatsApp, and they’ll message you if you’re running late. They also have a Carpe Diem app, which I recommend downloading. The guide spoke clear English and used photo books to show what the sites originally looked like, which really helped with visualisation. The area isn’t like a museum — there’s no curated display or information panels to read. Without a guide, most of the ruins would be hard to interpret. Palatine Hill involves a fair bit of walking, and the Colosseum has steep steps both going up and exiting. What stood out most was how interactive the guide was, explaining the history in a way that made everything more engaging as if exploring alone, the ruins can start to look like “rocks of different sizes”.

This tour is a well planned tour. Love the energy and the passion of the tour guides on both tour. Both are very knowledgeable about the tour/subject. I got picked up from my hotel going to the Vatican in the morning. They also drove me from the Vatican to the Colosseum. I was nit able to eat lunch in between tours though, because the Vatican tour took a while, but we were able to finish everything just in time. There's too much information that 3 hours at the Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica would not be enough. It's so worth it though. I took lots of photos and videos, except at the Sistine Chapel where photos and videos are not allowed. Super stoked to see the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum. Highly recommended!

our guide was super thoughtful, kind, and helpful. we lost two of our members at a gate and she went back to find them. I forgot her name but she was very sweet. spoke English very well, and was definitely a local. knew all the best spots for pictures, and got us into special areas fast! group size: 6 people guide: perfect person to guide this attraction!

Younis was such a professional and kind guide. He drove us safely around the city and showed us so many beautiful places we would have never discovered on our own. What made the experience special was how he explained the history behind every building and landmark in such an interesting way. You can really feel his passion and knowledge. Again Amy was an excellent tour guide give everyone time for pictures and great explanation. This tour is highly recommended for a 1st timers. The Basilica is amazing. This tour was at 2:30 p and Amy finished at 5:30pm but I end leaving the Basilica at 7pm looking everything with detail. Amazing! Thank Amy for all!

Service provier were on time. They were calling us 15 mins before scheduled time but once we were there, we understood why. There was already a long line forming luckily we have priority tickets. Male sure to come early!
