Things to do in Jiuzhai Valley National Park

Overall a great trip. The tour agency was helpful, responsive, attentive, and accommodating in trying to meet my various needs. Especially impressed by my contact person Chuan who reads and writes English really well, with little chance for miscommunication. The driver Xu Shifu who was also our tour leader was helpful, punctual and attentive to our requests too. A trip like this can be hectic and tiring because of the need to set off early in the morning and take long rides, which is beyond the control of the travel agency since there is really vast distance between attractions and much of the journey was on narrow and uneven roads. The agency has done its best given the circumstances! Great job Chuan and Xu Shifu!

Travel dates: June 14-16. Today is the last day, and we've already started our journey back to Chengdu. Although the itinerary was a bit tight, the weather these past two days was truly excellent, making the effort worthwhile. Both the driver and the tour guide were great. Our guide was very lovely, providing excellent care and assistance. This was one of the most impressive and beautiful trips. This trip was very nice and amazing. Everywhere had incredible views.

For dinner, we had the experience of a Tibetan hot pot, which my child really enjoyed. Our small group had a total of 5 people, and the other couple was also very pleasant to be with. They even helped us take photos while we were exploring the scenic spots, which we really appreciated. The scenery is beautiful, highly recommended.

There were about 30 people on the bus, but the spacious interior didn't feel cramped. This was my first time on a 2+1 configuration bus, and it's much more comfortable than traditional ones. Although the ride was quite long, the scenery was beautiful, making it well worth the trip.

In early June, you'll need a jacket for Jiuzhaigou in the mornings and evenings, but it gets quite warm when the sun is out at midday. Surprisingly, my child absolutely loved the scenery in Jiuzhaigou, repeatedly saying, "Mommy, it's so beautiful here, it's so beautiful here."

I'm very satisfied with this trip. The scenery in Jiuzhaigou is truly beautiful. If you come to Sichuan, you really have to see it for yourself.

Our family group enjoyed a relatively flexible itinerary and excellent service. Our driver, a seasoned local from Western Sichuan, was very enthusiastic and always punctual for pickups and drop-offs. He was also very accommodating and communicative when we requested last-minute changes to our destinations. We highly recommend him. The Tibetan family dinner was not a mass-produced experience; the hosts were very welcoming, and the yak hotpot and highland barley cakes were authentic. The hotel was also very good.
