Fantastic 5.0
I've stayed here three times already, as the location is incredibly convenient, very close to Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station (a three-minute walk). This station offers trains (ten minutes to the airport, five minutes to the city center station), metro (lines 51/52), light rail/tram (line 19), and various bus options. Its functionality is comparable to Amsterdam Centraal Station, but the hotel price is about half! The hotel itself features modern and new decor. The rooms are equipped with a kitchen, cooking utensils, tableware, a microwave oven, and other amenities. The room space is very large, definitely enough for four people's luggage. If you're staying on the first floor but don't want to climb the stairs from the entrance to the reception, you can take the elevator next to the main door to the second floor, walk to the other end of the corridor, and then take the elevator there down to the first floor (we had someone with mobility issues in our group). While this method is a bit inconvenient, it avoids stairs. The hotel itself does not offer dining services, but it does provide facilities such as a gym, laundry room (washers and dryers), sauna, and a rooftop terrace. You can purchase drinks, snacks, salads, sandwiches, microwaveable meals, and more at the self-service shop on the first floor. I highly recommend The Breakfast Club near the hotel (open from 6 AM to 6 PM). Their breakfast and brunch are delicious, and I especially recommend the matcha latte and chicken waffles.

Fantastic 5.0
Just chanced upon this hotel but really pleased with it! Such a central location with so many restaurants/shops just around. Was initially worried about the noise at night as shared in other reviews, but it was a peaceful stay despite such a bustling weekend with Pride happening. City was so vibrant & the hotel was definitely busy, but you never felt that once you’re back in your room/floor. Had 2 rooms booked & I must say our room was better maintained / cleaned compared to the other room. Needless to say, we had 2 different room attendants.

More about Amsterdam hotels

What staying in Amsterdam feels like

Staying in Amsterdam ranges from modest economy options to distinctly upscale luxury choices, with the top class running roughly 2.3 times the price of the bottom. The best balance between cost and comfort sits in the premium tier, which typically gives good value for most travellers.

How the hotel classes compare and who they suit

Economy properties offer the most affordable entry point and suit budget-conscious travellers who prioritise saving on room rates. Standard rooms step up from economy with a bit more comfort and sit below premium in price and amenities, appealing to travellers wanting reasonable quality without a large jump in cost. Premium is the sweet spot and the best-value tier: it occupies a middle ground just below the biggest price leap and is ideal for travellers wanting extra comfort without the luxury premium. The largest price increase comes when moving from premium to luxury, so that jump is where you decide whether the extra splurge on top-end comfort is worth it.

When travellers book

For travellers, January is typically the cheapest month while April is typically the priciest month; a budget-led trip therefore fits best in January when rates tend to be lower. Rooms are most often secured about 39 days in advance, so while last-minute stays are possible, locking in plans around that lead time is common—especially if travelling in April when demand pushes rates higher.
