Fantastic 5.0
This is definitely a tour you have to do if you visit Chiang Mai. At the beginning, I felt a bit lost due to unclear instructions, but as the tour progressed everything became clearer and well explained. The organizers adjusted the logistics to avoid crowds, which allowed us more time and space to enjoy each place at a relaxed pace. The bamboo rafting was a highlight very authentic and felt like moving through the river as a local. Lunch was good, with local food made from natural ingredients (not a lot of variety, but satisfying). The elephant experience was truly special, respectful, and well managed. A lovely extra touch was Mr. Pupp out guide and, who accompanied us during part of the experience and made the day even more memorable. Overall, a well organized tour that balances nature, culture, and responsible tourism. Highly recommended. group size:9

This is once in a lifetime experince! The massive release of the lanterns plus the fireworks moved me in tears! The food in the buffet are delicious. We were lucky enough that it didn't rain. Got a beautiful full moon.

Itinerary: Pick-up from the hotel around 1 PM sharp. The vehicle is air-conditioned and the drive to the park is about 1 hour. After getting off the vehicle, you will be divided into two groups, one with a Mandarin guide and another with an English guide. After placing your personal belongings in a lockable locker, you will change into a Karen traditional shirt. Then, you will receive an explanation of elephant communication language and herbal ball making, after which you can feed the elephants and interact with them for photos (you can ask the guide to help take group photos). Afterwards, you will walk with the elephants in the jungle. At the river, you can apply mud to the elephants and bathe them. After the bath, you will return to the camp for a quick rinse, drink hot tea, and then take the original vehicle to their cafe for refreshments (fried rice, spring rolls, soup, and fruit are available). The cafe is located by the river, with a very relaxing atmosphere. Finally, you will be transported back to your Chiang Mai hotel. Guide: The whole activity is great, the staff are very friendly, and the interaction with the elephants is natural. They do not force the elephants to do anything. In addition, the park also has a baby elephant named Ai Ai, who is not yet three years old, and is very playful and cute.

The guide was doing a great job of giving us some very great information and I was having a fantastic time and meet some new friends in the tour. I would recommend this tour it was great to see the highlights of ChiangRai for a day. I didn't mind the long drive as I can enjoy the scenery along the way.

Fantastic 5.0
Tour was overall smooth with lots of places visited, including lunch buffet, which meant value for money. Our guide Vicki is very experienced and friendly. There was a plus point - we didn't opt for Karen Village but was still offered the choice to go in if we want (entrance fee excluded). There were quite a few cons - roads were windy (no choice), van was hot for those seated at the back (the aircon didn't reach far), the visit to Singha Park was very disappointing because didn't get to explore the park and animals at all, and the lunch buffet was not delicious. We reached back to Chiang Mai around 8pm.

Took a one-day tour to Doi Inthanon today. My tour guide was Sathaporn Pinkaew. He was amazing, very friendly, funny, and always smiling at us, truly representing the warmth of the Thai people. The itinerary was also very well planned and efficient, and we were lucky to have such amazing weather. A truly memorable trip.

Pick up was straightforward - guide Mint will call out name so you won't miss the bus as long as u reach there on time. He gave a breakdown of the schedule so you know what to expect. Itinerary may change up, especially during peak season, but will still get to go every stop in the package. Mae Klang Waterfall was pretty but Wachirathan Waterfall was just spectacular. You will be sprayed, but it's the largest waterfall in the mountain so why not. At the Karen Hill Tribe Village, we tasted Arabica coffee, cascara drink, mixed flowers & butterfly blue pea tea. The walk around the village was scenic + there's no hard sell of items. Lunch service was fast. Thankful people were willing to queue to take pics at the highest peak of Thailand spot compared to the coin wishing stone! Weather is cooling up there. To get to the twin pagodas, have to take the songtaew instead of own tour van. Mountain views were lovely. There is a flower garden too. Hmong Community Market lets u try local delights.

it was a great experience a small group which made it private. we met at a drop off spot so easy to find the guide. the hot spring were an experience and the temple were wonderful the guide took so much time to explain everything in detail and make sure we got to experience and take pictures. she pointed out to us about how the wishing well and the blue ice cream so we don’t miss an opportunity. the amount of time was just right it was not rushed and we got to enjoy every moment

Our tour guide was friendly and professional, and she shared a lot of informative historical background with us. We visited many places in just one day, which made it a long schedule, but it was a truly great and rewarding experience.

Wat Phra That Doi Suthep

You can ride up the mountain to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep by songthaew (red truck) or taxi from the city center. The temple is known for its views over central Chiang Mai. You can also climb the long staircase if you prefer, with detailed steps and gold details along the way.

Walk through Wat Phra Singh to see its halls and quiet corners. It's one of the most respected temples in Northern Thailand.

Tips before visiting Chiang Mai

1. Plan for the weather

Chiang Mai can be warm during the day, especially in March and April. Bring light clothes, drink water, and rest indoors if the sun feels strong. (Klook tip: You can walk into coffee shops or food courts to cool off.)

2. Visit temples with proper clothing

In most temples, you'll be asked to cover your shoulders and knees. Make sure to bring a light scarf or long shorts that work well. This will help you feel comfortable during longer walks.

3. Try local food with an open mind

Street markets offer dishes like khao soi, sticky rice, and northern Thai sausage. You can try small portions first if you’re unsure. Fresh produce and all the tropical fruits are also easy to find at local markets.

4. Learn simple transport options

Red trucks, taxis, and app-based rides like Grab will make moving around easy. Chiang Mai International Airport is close to the city, so transfers are quick. You can also rent a bike if you want to explore central Chiang Mai at your own pace.

5. Bring cash for markets

Many food stalls and small vendors prefer Thai baht rather than cards. Make sure to keep small bills for snacks, drinks, and simple gifts. This will make your visit to night markets and street markets smoother.
