The Pavilion is a gem for families and history buffs. Children will enjoy the hunt for dragons while welil staged rooms allow you to walk back in time.

Fantastic 5.0
Our stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton was such a lovely experience, especially travelling with our two boys. The spacious room and big beds, cosy playroom, pool, seafront location and good breakfast made it a really family-friendly stay — and of course, the famous DoubleTree cookies were a bonus! 🍪😂 Even with a late-night false fire alarm that meant evacuating the hotel, everything was handled quickly, calmly and professionally, which really impressed us. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and overall the service, facilities and family-friendly atmosphere were fantastic. Definitely a hotel we’d happily stay at again! ❤️🏨

What to know before visiting Brighton and Hove

Quick snapshot of Brighton and Hove and what draws visitors

Brighton and Hove is a lively seaside destination where tours, historical sites and family-friendly attractions dominate bookings. Demand peaks sharply in July and falls to much lower levels in the winter months, so the city’s rhythm swings between busy summer weeks and quiet off-season periods.

Best times to visit for crowds and prices

According to Klook booking data, July is the busiest month while January sees the lowest demand. Price trends show cheaper options clustering in autumn — October typically has the lowest prices — while spring can be the priciest period on record. If you want smaller crowds and lower prices, plan for October or other shoulder months; for full summer atmosphere and events, aim for July when activity is at its height. Note that demand and prices don’t always move in lockstep: July is busiest but not the absolute priciest month, so you may pay premium rates at different times of the year.

Tips for travellers

Most experiences here can be booked with a moderate lead time: travellers typically lock things in about eight days ahead, though last-minute bookings are often possible within a few days. For peak-month travel in July, consider securing popular tours and tickets earlier — roughly a few weeks ahead — while shoulder- and off-season visits are flexible and suit spontaneous plans. Use Klook to browse options and reserve activities that match your travel window.
