Solo stay

I booked this hotel because it said it had laundry facilities. When I went down to the front desk to ask where the laundry facilities were, the person at the front desk said we don’t have laundry facilities, we only have dry cleaning. They could not have been less helpful.

Air con problems were an issue and there was a problem with the button to get access from the 3rd floor stairs to the lobby.

It’s a budget hotel, does what it says in the tin. Clean, comfy bed, 2 lifts, very helpful and friendly staff (they found a charger for me to borrow straight away). It’s right by Brighton station, or if driving - there’s the big station car park just the other side (and it’s cheaper than the main town sites!) - also buses on the door step. Outside there are convenience shops, piles of pubs and takeaways (we didn’t have any noise issues though). Right in town, straight down the hill to the Beach - minutes to the lanes and main for the shops. If you just want a bed to get your head down - ideal.

Clean hotel and room Friendly and helpful staff Only one lift was working which was very inconvenient Breakfast food was good No problem parking in the nearby RCP car park for a reduced rate. However this is still expensive

Clean and as expected for the money. Would be helpful to have a couple more amenities such as iron in the room and better lighting in the room. Toaster at breakfast was only functioning on one side so had to put toast through twice! Good value but a couple of additional things for little cost could make all the difference

It was all good. However, the entrance of the building did not look good because there were cigarettes butts on the floor. However, the room was very clean.
