It was basically a self-guided walk after the glass-making demonstration. It wasn't as lively as I had expected, and you can tell that both towns are slowly declining as these traditional artisan industries struggle to survive. In fact, very few young people want to learn these crafts anymore because the work requires years of dedication. In Burano, only about 20 women are said to still possess the traditional lace-making skills. Despite that, the museum is well worth a visit, as it provides valuable insight into the history of Venetian craftsmanship and helps you appreciate these remarkable artistic traditions.

At the meeting point, there were many groups, and I had to ask each one to find mine. I was on the three-island tour, and there were many different tour packages within this group. So, on the way to the second island, it was important to listen carefully for the meeting time for my specific package. If I missed it, I could also ask the staff. On the first island, Murano, we watched glassblowing demonstrations and could also buy glass crafts. The second island was Burano, where we had lunch and took photos with the colorful houses. The third island, Torcello, was very peaceful. There was enough time to explore each island without feeling rushed. The tour guide on the boat was very diligent in explaining things, but unfortunately, the boat's noise was too loud, so it was hard to hear. There were also two different disembarkation points on the return trip, which required special attention.

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Der Treffpunkt ist dort, wo Sie den Gutschein gegen die Gondeltickets eintauschen müssen. Dort warten Sie auf den örtlichen Reiseleiter, der Sie zum Pier bringt, wo Ihnen eine Gondel zugewiesen wird.

Nach dem Treffen im Tourbüro erhalten Sie die Tickets und Kopfhörer. Der englischsprachige Reiseleiter führt uns zu Fuß zum Markusdom und erklärt die Außen- und Innenarchitektur. Der Markusdom ist innen sehr schön und ein Besuch ist absolut empfehlenswert!

Eine sehr schöne Erfahrung und die Buchung verlief reibungslos. Der Service war ebenfalls hervorragend. Wir haben es wirklich genossen.

Doge's Palace in Venice is definitely worth a visit. The exquisite and magnificent council chambers and the prison are all housed within the same building, making it a highly recommended indoor activity. The museum ticket covers three attractions, which you can choose to see or not. The downside of purchasing through Klook is that you have to walk to a nearby service center to exchange your ticket (staff will print a QR code ticket for you, which feels neither environmentally friendly nor memorable, and requires printing two sheets of paper).
