Fantastic 5.0
Greeted by the uniformed staff friendly once arrived at the meeting point. everything was smooth. We had a VR introduction on the Gondola history before taking a short walk to the pier. The Gondola experience was great that we got the chance to tour around Venice slowly on the boat. The price on Klook is very reasonable when comparing to onsite appointment. Highly recommended!

This place is awesome and super easy to get tickets for. The sights are absolutely breathtaking. I only had time to check out the main building, unfortunately. I really hope they start offering tickets just for that part in the future. It would be great to be able to visit again without having to buy a full package.

After meeting at the tour office, we received our tickets and headphones. Our English-speaking guide then led us on a walk to St. Mark's Basilica, explaining both its exterior and interior architecture. St. Mark's Basilica is incredibly beautiful inside, and a visit to the interior is an absolute must!

We rushed to the ferry terminal just before departure and managed to buy the Klook tickets in time. Luckily, we made it! It was 90 euros for two people at the site, but buying through Klook was cheaper than at the counter. It's definitely worth purchasing and experiencing; it's truly a once-in-a-lifetime ride.

Highly recommend this tour package for those who wish to explore the beautiful Dolomites as a daytrip from Venice. Our tour guide, Chiara was friendly and great. She ensured that the itinerary was fulfilled in a timely manner and provided interesting background for each site we visited. In total, the entire tour lasted from 8am-6.30pm including the commute to the sites which can be challenging but our bus driver, Sergei did an amazing job maneuvering the pathway without making anyone sick and loved the relaxing playlist!

It was basically a self-guided walk after the glass-making demonstration. It wasn't as lively as I had expected, and you can tell that both towns are slowly declining as these traditional artisan industries struggle to survive. In fact, very few young people want to learn these crafts anymore because the work requires years of dedication. In Burano, only about 20 women are said to still possess the traditional lace-making skills. Despite that, the museum is well worth a visit, as it provides valuable insight into the history of Venetian craftsmanship and helps you appreciate these remarkable artistic traditions.

It was great to see the city of Venice from above. It's also good that you can go up by elevator. However, I booked at the last minute, and when I presented the barcode directly at the entrance, I was told it was incorrect! I was confused because I didn't realize I needed to exchange the ticket at the Klook counter.

What to know before visiting Venice

Venice’s top things to do across the year

Venice is dominated by historical sites, followed by water activities and a wide range of tours, with museums and the occasional premium cable-car experience rounding out bookings. Demand peaks in October and drops sharply around December, so the city’s rhythm moves from quieter winter months into a busy autumn surge.

Best activities for families, couples and solo travellers

Families will enjoy history-rich attractions and museums, which offer easy entry-level options and reliable, educational experiences for different ages. Couples often pick water activities and romantic guided tours — these categories suit intimate, scenic outings and special-occasion moments. Solo travellers or small groups find the greatest variety in tours, where choices range from budget to premium and you can match the trip to your pace.

What travellers should book in advance

What travellers book ahead Most visitors can stay fairly flexible in Venice — many things are still possible a day or two out — but typical planners tend to book around two weeks ahead, and the earliest planners reserve roughly six weeks in advance. Booking earlier matters most in October, when demand is at its peak.

How categories compare on price and who they suit

Museums are the easiest, cheapest way into Venice’s attractions, offering the lowest typical price point and straightforward access for most visitors, while cable-car experiences sit at the premium end and appeal to those chasing a unique, higher-priced treat. Historical sites sit in the mid-range by booking volume and price, great for culture-focused travellers, and water activities are a slightly higher mid-range choice for scenic, splashier outings. Tours show the widest spread of prices and options, making them the most flexible category for different budgets and traveller types.
