Ting at lave i Changsha

guide was helpful and insightful. sharing information at every station, time at each location was sufficient. it’s not too rushed to tiring which is suitable for young and old. all the city highlights that need to be seen are all covered in a day. booked on my last day before leaving Changsha at night. ends just nice before dinner time and I did have a nice dinner, some last min shopping, hair wash before gg back to my hotel to grab my luggage and head to airport for check in and tired enough to knock out throughout the flight.

Our guide Xiao Zhang was very helpful, friendly and professional. My wife and I both enjoyed very much.

Tour Guide: Our tour guide, Ms. Zhou Qin, was absolutely perfect! She introduced every attraction wonderfully and thoughtfully recommended some great food and classic sights. The hotel arrangements were also excellent. Attractions: Zhangjiajie was a bit disappointing because we didn't get to see Tianmen Cave, but we did see the Bailong Elevator. Fenghuang Ancient City was also beautiful; we learned a lot of history and saw many interesting things. Accommodation: The accommodation arrangements were very good and satisfactory. Transportation: The tour guide also made excellent and timely transportation arrangements for us. Overall: Although there were some minor disappointments, the entire trip was fantastic. I highly recommend this tour group if you plan to visit Zhangjiajie during the summer. Despite the scorching heat, with temperatures soaring above 104°F (40°C) these past few days, our guide, Mr. Zhang, was incredibly professional and meticulous. He helped us navigate each attraction smoothly and quickly, avoiding crowds and long lines. The hotel arrangements were particularly impressive, including the best hotel in Fenghuang Ancient Town and a secluded hotel with breathtaking views of clouds and sunrises, which other tours don't offer. Every dish at the restaurants was delicious. All optional activities were arranged with our preferences in mind, and there was absolutely no pressure to participate. He clearly explained the history of each site. Finally, he accompanied us on the Fenghuang boat tour and provided detailed instructions on how to get a taxi, which was incredibly thoughtful for non-Chinese tourists. The high-speed rail and comfortable nine-seater bus made the journey pleasant throughout. It was a truly perfect trip to Zhangjiajie, earning two big thumbs up! Guide:

despite difficulty in dealing with the operator ahead of the tour I am leaving a 5 star review for the EXECUTUON of the tour. all aspects of itinerary were covered perfectly and in a timely fashion. the tour guide Guo was fantastic . despite the fact I speak English and She doesnt we used translation apps and I was a FULL participant in EVERY facet of the tour. She went the extra mile to make sure I knew exactly what was going on and I had a wonderful experience!!!

This was an eye opener and for anyone mildly interested in the history of China a "Must Do". It's estimated that 8 million people visit this site every year and the reverence in which many Chinese people hold Mao is obvious. During our visit there were hundreds of Chinese in groups paying tribute to his memory; laying wreaths and bunches of flowers at the foot of a giant statue; bowing in respect; chanting slogans or singing revolutionary songs. Our guide, Kathy, who was born in the same town as Mao, was a font of knowledge. A visit is well worthwhile if your interest extends beyond pandas and the usual tourist traps and you would like a better understanding what makes modern day China tick.

I booked a guided tour of the Changsha Museum through Klook this time, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. The day before the tour, the local contact proactively reached out to confirm the itinerary, which was very thoughtful. Upon arrival, our guide, A-Cheng, was an even bigger surprise—professional yet engaging. He narrated Changsha's history like a story, connecting artifacts from the daily life of the Han Dynasty's Changsha Kingdom to the romantic poetry of Tang Dynasty kilns. He excelled at weaving the artifacts into a compelling narrative. He didn't just explain 'what' the artifacts were; he also guided us to observe intricate details in the patterns and the colors of kiln glazes, answering many questions. Previously, when visiting museums, I mostly just glanced at things without much depth. But with the guide's explanations, my perception was completely transformed. I used to think artifacts were distant from us, but the guide's explanations brought them closer. If you're planning a trip to the Changsha Museum, I highly recommend joining a guided tour. If you're lucky enough to get A-Cheng's tour, don't miss it! He helps you see not just artifacts, but the vibrant history of Changsha.
