unlimited oysters, fast cooking, wonderful misty cool ambience in the summer heat, with beer on sale. staff was really helpful as well

From August 11th to 17th, we stayed in Magong, Penghu, for seven days and six nights. On the 12th, we tried another barbecue restaurant, and on the 15th, we decided to pick another one for the next day. When we saw that Shanshui Summer BBQ advertised fresh seafood delivered daily, we decided to go there. We confirmed over the phone that we would be using a Klook voucher, and they suggested we arrive at 5:30 PM. We arrived on time and found that this time slot was perfect: easy parking, and we could get food almost immediately without waiting in line. The owner managed everything smoothly. She was concerned that the enoki mushrooms and clams in our foil tray would take up too much grill space and that we might not eat enough if we grilled too slowly, so she took them to be heated elsewhere (she also suggested the enoki mushrooms to us). Besides the oysters, the unlimited squid was truly fantastic. Our family of five had a wonderful feast. After eating, we took a leisurely stroll back to the car, enjoying the summer evening breeze. Thank you to the owner and the young boss.

Myslím, že to byla skvělá hodnota za peníze, jídlo bylo překvapivě úžasné. Nejvíce se nám líbil kaktusový ovocný ocet, byl super chutný a osvěžující. Personál měl prvotřídní přístup a každé jídlo bylo vynikající a speciální. Nejvíce se nám líbila dušená ryba, která byla mořská ryba z Penghu, maso bylo obzvláště jemné a velmi chutné. Celkově to bylo 100 bodů z 100. Až budeme mít příště příležitost navštívit Penghu, určitě tam půjdeme znovu jíst😋

Food Taste: Regarding the seafood, which I was most looking forward to, the shrimp weren't as large as I expected, about 40/50 count. The mussels also tasted just average; those at Xiang XX Tang are much better. The crab meat was decent, and the sashimi was quite fresh; I had two rounds of it. The freshly carved steak was also pretty good. There's soft-serve and regular ice cream. Towards the end, the soft-serve couldn't solidify fast enough, coming out very quickly and very soft when dispensed. For alcoholic beverages, it's worth noting that there's a choice of cold and hot Gekkeikan sake. Overall, I feel the price is a bit high for what you get.

The chef's grilling skills are top-notch; the skewers are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with juice. You can buy vouchers online before going, which usually offer deals like "pay 500 NTD to get 550 NTD in value," making it an even better bargain when you check out.
